    DVD Ram

I got a batch of Panasonic DVD-RAM discs from SVP too volvo, they work great, like the old VHS cassettes without the shit quality !!
  2. No thanks blu - Jack just "did" me....
  3. Thanks for letting us know
  4. Mmm I have never read the warning message as you did - to me it says that there isn't enough room on the disc for your burn, are you sure you want to continue ? Perhaps it's cos I remember the old VHS video days, if the film I wanted to record was too long for the tape I never got the end - the video recorder never asked me to insert a second tape, in fact the bloody thing never even gave me a warning !!!
  5. I have had 3x NEC drives, 1x BenQ DW1655 and a Pioneer DVR-111 and to be honest for sheer burn quality you can't beat the Pioneer ! It burns all discs, DVD-R/+R/+RW/-RW/+R DL/-R DL as well as DVD-RAM. The BenQ is great cos it does disc quality scans but if you are never going to use it I would get the Pioneer DVR-112 drive
  6. I think you will find Altercuno has an 8" vinyl plug in !!
  7. Nice little program that.....
  8. Re making it say ImgBurn by default !!
  9. Dial up ???
  10. Mmmm sounds like a ripping comment to me
  11. If you are meaning a DVD Ripper by then I think I am safe in saying that the boss will NOT be doing that again.
  12. Yeah as the error said the files are not correct for burning onto a DVD.
  13. Thanks for letting us know it all worked out
  14. Is it the device buffer or the application buffer or both that empty regularly ? If its the device buffer there must be some issue with sending data to the drive then and that is not of ImgBurn's making. Check your filter drivers using the free tool from http://www.bustrace.com and you can remove any crap filters you find. You can put it's info in the clipboard and paste it on here if you like, then the boss or others with more knowledge can help point out the bad ones (if there are any).
  15. I'll line em up and you say em !!
  16. !! What's wrong with the tooltip ? Means the info on the Gui is less cluttered...
  17. Yeah but I am not sure about splitting an iso file tho....
  18. ntl (now Virgin Media) used to do it as well, my father in law had a problem and got it fixed via the same route.
  19. I might be on the wrong track here but you know that ImgBurn builds .iso images from files don't you ?
  20. I don't believe you can split an .iso image over several CD-Rs, but someone with more knowledge can probably confirm that for you
  21. Sounds pretty painless compared to most "support" calls doesn't it kirk ?
  22. I haven't seen that type of DVD-RW before but I am guessing that CMCW02 is made by the infamous CMC Magnetics company and that isn't a great combination for a quality burn. If you want to use RW's I would try and get hold of Verbatim 6x RW's, I have a couple of them and they seem better than most when it comes to quality of playback. Finally if you have been changing settings, restore defaults on ImgBurn, Tools>Settings>Defaults (they work best) and then you will know that all should be ok.
  23. Bingo !!
  24. Wonder if it worked ?
  25. The Eye Candy thread is worth a donation on it's own !!
