You should give us some more information like where did the iso file come from, have you compressed or edited it all maybe using shrink ? Does it play on your PC - can you mount the image with Daemon Tools and then play that back on the PC does that have sound ? An ImgBurn log is always good to but I don't think for a second that it's anything to do with IB

As zacoz said it sounds like the settings to me too ! Did you just run it through on defaults ? Maybe a bit of tweaking is required ?

I used to use DVD+R's exclusively a fews years back before I could bitset and none of the burnt discs had any problem playing back on PS2's DVD players etc.... I think the reason it was heralded for DVD+R DL's is that they didn't exist when a lot of people bought DVD players so the did not have the specs in built for them. Thus by changing them to DVD-ROM your drives ensured that they stood a better chance of being played. Are you finding that your players don't like DVD+R discs ?

With respect Lightning UK! writes and supports ImgBurn so I would be more confident of what he tells you Have you tried the same burn with <cough> :& Nero to see if that works ?

That's the problem with less reliable media - it will work and then it won't and it just leaves you wondering why ! Post the info that corny asked for in case their is a different dye (media ID) on the successful discs but I would still go with donta's recommendation and get Verbatim DVD+R DL as you will have far more reliable burns.
