You tried to read it in one of the other two burners that you have installed in your computer?

If you insert the disc and use the read mode, there is a panel/info window in the right side of the program. Can you copy that info. It should be something like this:

Yes. The one with the 'No' is most certain the original layer break. If you want the 'No' to be seamless - you need to check mark the box 'Semless' in the option part of the layer-break window.

Uninstalling it from the device manager and then restarting the computer should trigger Vista to reinstall it.

The solution might be to get an external writer that likes to burn better.

These types of badged drives usually ends up in HP, Varios and other brand named computers. There should be a support page at the manufactures webpage for your model of computer. Look in the drivers section of that page.

You have another stand alone player that you can try to play the discs in?

The slowest speed the firmware supports is 4x.

Looks as there is a problem after 3/4 of the disc. You have another media you could try to write with and see if it plays back better. Could be a scratch on the surface on the RW disc that makes the play back problems for you.

Another option is to extract the ISO with www.7-zip.org and then use the build mode to put the layer break where you want it. You can also use Tools -> ISO -> Show layerbreak info to see where the current one is located.

Try to press the 'Scan' icon and run it with 4x in speed.
