  1. The latest DVD Flick beta installs 2.4.1.0.
  2. Sorry. I expressed my self bad. It's not the verify speed in ImgBurn that 'needs' to be set to 4x. It was the read speed in DVDInfoPro when you did a scan by using that program on its own.
  3. A tips is to scan it at 4x in that Lite-On. Gives a little more accurate results.
  4. There is a later firmware version BSOY to install. http://www.liteonit.com.tw/global/index.ph...r&Itemid=75 If you install: No disc in the device Tray closed All other programs closed If that doesn't work. Try to get some Verbatims made in Singapore - the 2.4x rated ones are the best. Also, if you are burning a DVD Video compilation - use ImgBurn instead as you can preview and manually select where you want the layer break to happen.
  5. I wonder what the definition of that is...
  6. The DVD Flick support forums search function is also quite interesting... http://www.dvdflick.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1206
  7. Try this guide from Microsoft. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265/en-us
  8. Hopefully the next firmware update will solve the issues. If not - then I'm happy to donate it. Only issue is that the price to send a package to Charlestone is pretty much the same as I paid for the burner.
  9. Stay away from the 223 model. Worst crap I've seen in a long time.
  10. I'm having both Zone alarm and AVG installed, and I can see the tool tips.
  11. Hi and welcome to the forum, loveberg50! Might give some more clues if you could post the log of the failed verify. You'll find it here Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
  12. Hi and welcome to the forum, kef1234! ImgBurn can only read unprotected DVDs like your home made movies that you have transfered to a DVD/Blu-ray disc. To transfer them to your hard disk, use the Read mode in ImgBurn. You will then have an ISO file on the hard disk. A program like VLC Media Player will play that ISO files. This guide tells you how to read a disc: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6379 Copying an image is transferring the content of the source disc to the hard disk.
  13. That image looked as you have Windows to not show extensions. (.ifo).
  14. What are the folders except the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS?
  15. There is a ReadMe.txt file in the path C:\Program Files\ImgBurn that should allow you to create a batch file for creation of .iso files. But I don't understand your round with DVDFab. Shouldn't it be easier to let that program create the ISO as output as default?
  16. Hi and welcome to the forum, gunnydevil! Sounds as your burner doesn't like the brand of discs. You could post the failed burn log, as it will show some more about what brand of writer you have installed. You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
  17. On the burned disc, do you have a file structure with a VIDEO_TS map in the root with the .ifo, .bup. and .vob files inside? It should look something like this:
  18. Hi and welcome to the forum, NorKais! My Swedish .lng file is 115KB. The sizes listed in the download page are compressed and put in a zip file. That's why they are smaller.
  19. Hi and welcome to the forum, SmileMan! There is a later firmware for that burner to install, version A106. You should find it here in 'DeviceDriver'. http://ca.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp I just doubt that even if you install it, that it will deal with those 'modern' 8x DL discs, as the burner is rather old. I think the best solution is to get a new burner that deals with those discs.
  20. Thanks again for all the wishes. Got a 22" wide screen in present to replace my old computer screen, so now my spelling errors looks even bigger than before...
  21. Cynthia

In the next version (2.4.2.0) that will be released, it's fixed.
  22. There is a YYS7 version of the firmware. http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/FIRMWARE/...Q30A-YYS7.shtml
