  1. You have set the jumpers/switches back on the burner as donta suggested?
  2. Try to see if there is something on the HP site. Normally you need to get the model name/number of the computer to find the firmware on the HP site. Sometimes there is also an HP updater installed in such a computer that can find new stuff like firmware.
  3. Is that a 'true' LiteOn writer, or some 'rebanded' one? Another source of that firmware. http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/FIRMWARE/...-Firmware.shtml
  4. Works in some writers. Usually in the later released models.
  5. Hi and welcome to the forum, mileserik! Not the best media you are dealing with. Your current firmware is CP81. There is a CS08 version. http://www.liteonit.com.tw/global/index.ph...&Itemid=154 If you flash: No disc in the device Tray closed All other programs closed Restart the PC after the flash. Is it a game you are trying to burn?
  6. Hej! 2.88 firmware sounds as a Fujitsu Siemens writer. There should be a 2.E9 version for that writer on their web page.
  7. Pioneers are crappy for high speed CD burning. If you used MAX speed - try to lower the speed.

  9. Hi and welcome to the forum, mudskipper! Yes, you are right.

    Visual bug

Tried to find that XP theme on the Microsoft webpage, I couldn't. You have any download link? The only ones I have are these:
  11. There is a later firmware for the device - KLOP. http://www.liteonit.com.tw/global/index.ph...&Itemid=154 http://www.liteonit.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/ODD/L...rmware/KL0P.zip If you flash: No disc in the drive Tray closed All other programs closed
  12. There is an option in the program that is not working...
  13. Hi and welcome to the forum, Nightly! As you already have a done ISO file - there is no need to build one. Select the 'Write' mode and load the .iso file. You need a DL disc to be able to burn the ISO file. For the layer break - what kind of game is it for? xBox/Wii/Amiga?
  14. As it is a game (I'm not to good with that stuff) the .dvd file holds the layer break - so select that one.
  15. Hi and welcome to the forum, y0ungSir! According to LiteOn there is a later firmware - that might give you better result with this media. http://www.liteonit.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/ODD/S...rmware/PS0C.zip If you flash: No disc in the drive All other programs closed The tray closed Then restart the computer after the flash Also there is a later version of the ImgBurn program to install.
  16. As stated before, you can already do this. Assume you want to make a template for a CD. Start the 'Build' mode. Don't load any files/folders and apply your setting changes. Save it with the option; Main Menu -> File -> Save Project The next time you are going to create a CD - load the already created Project file to automatically change the settings and then just add the files/folders. You can have as many project files saved as you want.
  17. Hi and welcome to the forum, timothywongtw! Can you post the full log? You find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
  18. Well, as they say - after rain there is sunshine.
  19. Yes, I think you could write a big book about graphs like these. Ran some tests today to compare the results of the same discs in my burners with Nero DiscSpeed and also with DVDInfoPro, and the only conclusion was that I got even more confused about this stuff. I have a big package of new unscratched RW discs to try with. Will run a new test.
  20. Never heard of that media 'DAXON' before.
  21. Yes, nice to see you again! Goto Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager. Do you see any yellow exclamation point on the drive? Nero InCD installed?
  22. Hi and welcome to the forum, abuilder! Do you have Roxio Easy Media Creator installed? How did you plug in this burner? Do you have another burner installed also? Master/Slave/Device jumper settings are right in the back of the burners? Can you post the full log? Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
