  1. You selected 4x. Either the discs are some no names ones (crappy) or you are in PIO mode with that burner.
  2. There was a bug in USB that could happen when SP1 was installed for Windows 7. Should be a fix on Windows Update. No idea if that one has something to do with the above issue.
  3. True, you got what you wanted. Not sure why the burner reported something else.
  4. A very common error with Samsung burners. Low quality media is the common reason for it to happen. As mentioned before, try some better media like Verbatim AZO (avoid the Chinese ones).
  5. Downloading files from the Internet while you burn?
  6. interseting, so in that case id need the 8x verbs? the 2.4x ones could be causing the problem? No idea what supported speeds there is for your burner with 2.4x rated Verbatims. It could be 2.4x. The supported write speeds differ depending on the media code. For the media you posted in the log, there are three supported speeds.
  7. 1x and 2.4x both was burned as 4x as that is the lowest speed the burner can burn with. So 4x has already been tested.
  8. Tried the 6x and 8x write speeds also? Now you have tried the 4x (or 1x as you selected). The second attempt seems to have been used a used disc.
  9. Nice to hear that you got it sorted out!
  10. 49 sectors on a single layer DVD disc that can hold 2298496 sectors; 2298496/49 is 0,002132%. The ImgBurn calculator only shows zero decimals (only integers), so that's why you see 0 %. That movie clip can only be one or two seconds long. Sure you want to burn that on a DVD?
  11. Same slow speeds if you burn a regular single layer disc?
  12. Writing like a turtle and much slower than what you have set it to - have you checked that you have the latest chip set drivers installed for the mother board regarding the SATA channels? Tried to use another SATA connector on the motherboard? Same slow speeds if you burn a regular single layer disc?
  13. Can you post the log from one of those attempts?
  14. That image can fit on a regular single layer disc.
  15. Also try the 2.4x write speed.
  16. This looks like your issue. That image could have been burned on a single layer disc. Now when you have forced it onto a DL disc, there is a lot of "empty" space that needs padding at the end of the burn (so the image is laid out properly on the two layers), and that is what's taking the time. As in the log, the image is burnt on both layers.
  17. Can you post a log from one of those burns?
  18. It will just burn as a .flv file. It will not be converted to a video compliant disc (with VIDEO_TS folder) if that is ok - yes it can be done.
  19. Make sure you also hit this reset settings. Open a Windows Explorer window and just drag and drop the Video_TS folder into the build window. This video should give you some more clues. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu5tivmHIQ8&feature=player_detailpage
  20. What's better with using that program?
  21. Yes, even if the burner reports that the burn part is ok, it can still be so crappy that the burner can't read what it just burned.
  22. Some burners like higher speeds = better quality. Some doesn't.
  23. (Looks like a legit site for downloads) You should download these files also: Movie Files MPEG2 VTS_01_1.VOB 1,024.0 MB VTS_01_2.VOB 1,024.0 MB VTS_01_3.VOB 1,024.0 MB VTS_01_4.VOB 981.6 MB
