  1. Hej! You need to apply a modified firmware for single layer discs, if you want to have them book typed. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=12099
  2. I have the same burner and I couldn't install that firmware either. I had terribly problems burning Verbatim DL media with that toaster. A guy in another part of Sweden had better luck. I think the quality of that burner is very up and down and the only good use was as a reader. Are those discs made in Singapore?
  3. The burner would still use a generic write approach, as the current media code/discs you are using is not supported in the firmware. It might be supported in the latest one.
  4. Tried to put the SATA connector to the mother board to another slot?
  5. That's your root to the problem. As you can see in the sector value of the first write error, there are no free sectors after what is reported by the available sectors on the disc. Shrink the movie down with something like BD-RB to make it fit the size of the discs you are using.
  6. Doubt that has anything to do with the missing folders, sounds more as an authoring error in DVD Shrink.
  7. Think you accidentally unchecked the option in DVD Shrink to create those two folders. But ImgBurn should create them for you on the final disc (if you use default settings). Can you post a log from one of those burns were you only ended up with parts of the stuff? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632 Edit: Mrs Slow here.
  8. This one is free and should work. http://dspguru.doom9.net/
  9. Best is to use the source from two different hard disk when you burn to two burners at the same time.
  10. Can you post a log from that burn? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  11. Could be some disk defragger that started or some automatic updater.
  12. Aslo Win 7 is running, so I would say no. Looks more as some other program kicked in and stole the hard disk speed.
  13. There are some olds thread, ouu could search on "silicon image" in the forum. Here is one http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=15003&st=20 (start reading at post #19)
  14. Just make sure you buy one that is playing nice with burners. Not all do that.
  15. If it can't be set, what do you think it should say instead?
  16. I'm lazy, so it let Windows decide it for me.
  17. I didn't even knew what the avatar was for something. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_surface
  18. It's. The question is just how good it is...
  19. The log is saved first when you close the program. Perhaps that's the reason? Not sure what you mean with: In log it shows that it finds two writers, can't you select them by the drop down box? That "Shrink" program - is that the DVD Shrink one? That "red" one - any chance you can post an image/picture of that one?
  20. Can you post a log from what you see in the ImgBurn log window when you open up ImgBurn?
  21. Seriously, you bought a program that you can get the same functions for free from http://www.7-zip.org/ or any other similar program.
