You drive reports only 1/3 of the sectors that should be on a blanc -R disc. If it's not caused by this:

ImgBurn doesn't support multisessions, so it's not possible.

It shouldn't affect your scans. It's mainly the max verify speed that can be lower than expected.

You need some sort of a DVD burner. You should know if you have CD's or DVD's in front of you already.

You can convert the DVD source to VCD and burn it to a CD disc. But the quality will not be very nice.

I think you should have asked Santa for a DVD burner. The one you have right now is only a CD burner.

Only way to know how good media is with your burner is to do some scans.

Might be the signs of a dying drive. Could be worth a try with a cleaning disc. You can get one in of the shops that sells players & computers. Skip the expensive ones with trillions of functions. A simple one works very well.

I'm not very good with pdf files and blutach made the indexes of the guides prior to the current version. This time blue didn't had the time to make the indexes so I just made a simple pdf file of the guides. The reason that you can't view the member list might be that you have to few posts. What happens if you try to use the Read mode and read it back to the hard disk and then split the image with www.7-zip.org ?
