Perhaps he has it for pure scanning purpose... I have the Lite-On iHAS120 and Samsungs SH-S223F and they are both buried deep in a wardrobe. A nice burner and reader is the Optiarc 724x series of drives.

Hi and welcome to the forum, d4rk5ky! No. Sounds as the hard disk/source has problems to feed the drive fast enough. There is a FAQ about DMA in the FAQ forum. You could also post a log from one of those burns. It would tell a little bit more about your issue.

There is a discussion about this option and players in this thread. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=110426&page=4 I can't remember a thread in this forum about people who have complaint that their player didn't liked the option, so my feeling is that the option works well for people who use it.

I doubt you'll find your burning logs on the net... Why should a burning application forum have guides on how to find copyright protected files on the net?

Looks as that brand/media code is not working very well with that drive.

In what format do you have it? If it's the normal audio formats that guide should work.if you want to create an audio cd. If you just want to backup the files you can use the build mode.

No idea. I have some very low budget stand alone players and all of those have no issues with the seamless option. Try and see what happens with your player.

1. The issues I've read about is that it "freezes" at the layer break. 2. Use the preview window to see the location you selected as the layer break. The selected chapter should give you info on when the layer break is on the burned disc. 3. If you check mark that box - nothing will be changed in the ifo files and that is not what you want. Keep it unchecked.
