  1. Start ImgBurn and look under menu item Tools -> Filter Driver Load Order
  2. Hi and welcome to the forum, ramapochik! There is a later firmware for your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-H31N/files.html
  3. Based on others that faced the same issue, Verbatims seems to be the most reliable.
  4. Hi and welcome to the forum, ezraword! Looks as the burner is not a great fan of that brand of media (with the media code Ritek). There is a later version of the program. ASPI is for Winx/95 computers. SPTI should work well with XP.
  5. Yes, try with another brand of media.
  6. Are they of some well known brand?
  7. If you insert a regular R (non DL) disc - does that work better? Looks as the burner messes up the info from the disc and sees it as a RW disc.
  8. Hi and welcome to the forum, glassesofwater! The log seems to have gone somewhere else. If you insert the disc and switch to read mode - can you post the disc info you see in the right corner of the program window?
  9. Might want to try this firmware version 3.01 - look in the column for 'orig'. http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/NEC-ND-3530A/ http://club.cdfreaks.com/f34/burning-dvd-nero-trouble-186475/
  10. ImgBurn just sends commands to your burner. It's your burner that have to deal with the JVC media. The question is what media code they will be using in the future. Perhaps the same as before.
  11. Hi and welcome to the forum, NeilMik! Any chance you can post the first part of the log also?
  12. The brand name that is on the package is not important, it's the media code that's been used when producing the discs that is important and in your case Memorex has used the Ritek dye/media code.
  13. Hi and welcome to the forum, FritzeFred! The layer break concept from DVD is not present in Blu-ray. So there is no "layerbreak" value to be read or taken care off.
  14. Those times I've seen the issue with the track being smaller is often that the burner don't like the brand of media very much. Does it happen if you try with another image?
  15. The test mode never turns on the laser beam. It only carries out the different commands and shows if there is anything tricky in the "communcation" between the drive and program. Also that the physical parts included in the burn work, like ejecting the disc. Sounds as it's time to get a new burner.
  16. It sure behaves like that. Might be time to get a new shiny one.
  17. You could try to use the automatic firmware updater from Samsung. http://www.samsungodd.com/eng/ Press the link to the 'Firmware LiveUpdate program'.
  18. Hi and welcome to the forum, pozativenrgy! Try the latest TO03 firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-L632H/files.html There is also a later version of ImgBurn.
  19. I think you can rule out DMA issue. With DMA issues (It's reverted to PMA mode) you never get those fast speeds.
  20. A cleaning disc doesn't always help.
  21. Did you try with a cleaning disc? Might be that the burner is going south.
  22. If it worked before with the same discs, then it sounds as the drive is the issue.
  23. This is what I meant. I've used cleaning discs and sometimes they have helped, but it never got worse.
  24. There is a later firmware for that drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/DVR-115D/files.html Have you tried with another brand of RWs? How long do yo wait until you kill the process. That format process should take around 15 minutes.
  25. Hi and welcome to the forum, tyrone12234 Icon! Not sure why you change SPTI to ASPI. ASPI is more or less for windows 9x/Me. Might be that your drive needs to be cleaned with a cleaning disc.
