that's what you get for cutting all your firewood down in the 1890's course who ever heard of a forest fire there?
-
works great for my old ricoh 4x dvd+r, forget 12x burning with the drive tho, at 8x it's great always fine tune imgburn with a disk before it gets into a max burn speed mood

corsair won't run 250 cas 2.5, especially with HT at 1200 because of memory dividers I had to back off the fsb from 290 that's ok this stuff(crucial ballistix) only cost 26$ a stick

that's ok with single threaded apps my 80$ 2.5Ghz amd 64 3000 will blow it away bang for the buck

Db, what boot loader did you install long ago and far away?

I found tom's new tests! looks like intel is worth the price difference http://www23.tomshardware.com/cpu.html?mod...7&chart=177
-
for a dual core at 2.4Ghz I would go for this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103545 the extra L2 of the 4800 is wasted given that an overclock will have to handle extra heat, that's ok for the extra 120$ saved I might even go water
-
don't believe everything Intel says, remember when they came out with the P4 and the PIII beat it. they are having to load up on L2 to match the amd onboard memory controller the core 2's are very overclockable amd has dropped their prices to keep market share, what's intel gonna do to get rid of their surplus P4 inventroy?

so is pluto the escaped moon of ur anus, is this related to your hosed fat, surely that must be part magic?

check bios Version 1205 2006/05/16 update load windows xp/sp2, then go into device manager and load individual drivers as needed then load vid drivers after agp driver is functional if at first you don;t succed, try try again often the third or fourth time is the charm
-
db, you fat is hosed
-
that's a dangerous thing to do
-
you are only allowed a certain amount of non-powered usb devices, when you overload the motherboard anything can happen overall usb sucks
-
whever I am trying to troubleshoot something like this, I leave the computer open, remove all extra cards, chose safest settings in bios, have extra components ready and start changing out 1 part at a time and putting back in until I find the offending component. If 2 parts are going out, you're screwed, takes forever. cd, optical drive, power supply, hard drive, memory all test easily. I have had cpu's that were overheating and whne underclocked would give a good load one component that's a bear is the motherboard
-
edit, mouse finger strikes again
-
db, your motherboard has all usb2 ports, and using a program like shrink to rip a 1 gig vob to the external drive and time with screenshot windows sucks for transfers imgburn would do quite nicely also 4 gigs would be nicer
-
Anyone getting over 20MB/s sustained transfer from usb2 please post results.
-
you all need to discriminate between 6th generation and 7th generation, bloatware, especially when consolidated into one package(125MB).
-
I guess that's one of the reasons everytime someone comes out with a new burner, nero has to upgrade it's software
