I ended up buying the drive for a laugh, just installed it into sumvision caddy, turns out to be a Benq DW1670 No solidburn,overspeed, or quality scans auto booktype dvd-rom on dvd+ and Dl+ test write enable/disable Can set +rw to dl+ dvd-r etc (lol) just finished burning my first disc on it, A CMC AM3, (don,t laugh aint had one fail to playback) and no the data is still readable 1yr on from previous burns. and then scanned on 1670 (not quite right) only choices were CAV so choose 8x CAV same disc scanned on liteon 160P6S

I don't bother to verify verbs, I know it is wise to verify but i verify each disc differently, i play it in what it was designed for if it plays and the movie plays all the way to end without a hitch then thats verified to me, I have ran off a long line of backups and not verified them at all, as writing appeared normal yeah i know famous last words when none will play back, not had 1 yet though. I would try the ones you have written so far in ya 360 as writing seemed ok to me.

you not got a .dvd file to go with ISO you may get away with setting layer break manually to 1913760 in imgburn or create a new text document then paste this in LayerBreak=1913760 name_of_your_iso_here.iso then goto file and Save As where it asks for filename type this including speech marks also make sure you type the name of the ISO in your case cod3 (in the same case as ISO filename case) "cod3.dvd" then click on save you should now have something you could right click on and choose burn with imgburn. also the duration time of burn should be 41.51 or 42.51 or there abouts @2.4, though i can see 2.5 max in your log, so maybe ignore what i typed about duration, however check to see if there is a newer firmware for your nec.

post a log, or say what make of dvd drive youhave etc, brand of dvd-rw or -r etc. you got img extension registered in imgburn. click on defaults in imgburn.

they just keep on doing it as well, traxdata +r have RW on each disc, i have also seen these on many other manufacturers discs, tip disc over to writing side you will see its kinda grey RW or purple worm @(write once read many) or in the case of the poorer media worn, Write Once Read Never

more importantly will be the source material, vhs or cam would need some passes and time when converting to Avi etc

google a program called fairuse.com i never really used movie maker much, not sure if it accept vobs, if so you need to extract your .ISO file with say winrar so that you end up with audio_ts and video_ts folders and see if movie maker can import vobs

poor media, get verbatim + dl MKM-001-00 only media to be sure of

make sure pioneer is master on an 80 wire ide cable and the other end of cable is not connected to the same hard drive the image is on, check your udma settings as well
