  1. I've got a newish Lite-On around here somewhere. In a cupboard, I think - where it'll be the most useful.
  2. I wish Pioneer would get their act together. My crappy 105 is still the best drive I've ever had. Never a hiccup or complaint. Unlike the Pioneer, LG and Samsung drives I've bought recently.
  3. Good for you, idiot. It'll probably come as a shock to be told to fuck off a second time then.
  4. Who said LG? Lite-On. My bad. From memory, Sony stopped making their own drives about 3 years ago.
  5. Actually, I didn't say anything about the NEC drive - which I believe is quite good.
  6. Samsung? I thought all Sony drives were outsourced to LG?
  7. You really are a fuckwit. Alot of Sony media, including the crap you are using, has been outsourced to a company in Singapore. The media is shit. Sony Japan media is "Class A" media. Yours isn't. You'll get the same answer in every forum you visit. It would seem, however, that you've neither the fucking brains nor the wit to recognise an honest answer when you see one. Now, kindly fuck off.
  8. No. It's just another device that Windows has already installed the drivers for. I don't know. It'll work fine. Dunno. Never used one as I'd rather have harddrives running off sata than optical drives. Please note my disclaimer.
  9. Open ImgBurn > Help Menu > ImgBurn Logs All are saved/appended by default.
  10. It's burning just fine. The problem is reading the data afterwards. Please get some decent media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and try again. Almost everything else, including the disks you are using, is rubbish.
  11. *drool* 4TB on a single JBOD would be nice. At 75c/gig it ain't a cheap drive though. About $750AUS. Probably more by the time it got to the shelves. Good find, mate.
  12. LOL!! Care to be a little more specific? Crap. I better go find that link you posted.

  14. I saw an ad in the local paper a few years ago for an adult shop that was offering discounts on vibrators if you traded the old one in on a new one - which is fine. What I found worrying was they they also sold "reconditioned" vibrators.
  15. Fuck Pioneer and the horse they rode in on. A recent firmware update hasn't fixed the problems this drive has when trying to burn CD ISOs (DVD ISO files are fine). Lightning: What's your opinion? I 00:23:03 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started! I 00:23:03 Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (5.0, Build 2195 : Service Pack 4) I 00:23:03 Total Physical Memory: 1,571,568 KB - Available: 895,380 KB I 00:23:03 Initialising SPTI... I 00:23:03 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 00:23:04 Found 2 DVD-ROMs and 1 DVD
  16. Isn't ImgBurn part of Ner0? I always thought it was.
  17. LOL! I haven't heard this one before. I think you're safe to leave your computer on.
  18. This error is covered in the FAQ here: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...5entry975 Do yourself a favour and throw these disks into the bin and get some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media.
  19. Hmm... I can't duplicate the problem with blank DVDs or CDs with any of a half dozen drives using W2k, XP or Longhorn server.
  20. Yep. Your answer is here: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...amp;#entry47024
  21. In a nutshell, your media is garbage. It isn't a bug in ImgBurn. Grab some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Pretty much everything else is a waste of money.
  22. It doesn't but Ritek media and pretty much all DL media except for Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim are garbage. By ditching the crappy disks you'll fix 99% of the problem.
  23. I have huge problems with my Pioneer 112 burning CDs. It won't touch them. Music CDs or linux CDs fail everytime. My 105, 106, 109 do CDs happily. Go figure.
