  1. Try burning at 8x or 12x. Also try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. If it still doesn't work then try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  2. The booktype is correctly set on his burn.
  3. Have you tried that disc on other x360s to see if it works?
  4. Well, then either the source image is bad or your x360 needs "upgrading", both of which we can't help you here
  5. You should burn from the .dvd file anyway, and even if you select the .iso ImgBurn will use the .dvd file because it has important information needed to correctly burn the disc. I assume it's a x360 game? If it is, did you let ImgBurn verify the burn?
  6. Please post the log of that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  7. Try the verify with another drive then so that we know if the disc is good or not.
  8. Nope, it's all automatic in ImgBurn
  9. It means the manufacturer didn't provide a way of querying the current booktype setting from the burner's memory. You can still select DVD-ROM in the dropbox and click Change to see if you'll get a success message or not.
  10. Open then close the drive's tray and try using the Verify mode to verify that disc against the source ISO image. Does it work if you do it this way? If it doesn't, could you try verifying with another drive? As a last resort you could try a lens cleaning disc on that burner but I'm not sure if it'll help
  11. Your burner: TSSTcorp = Samsung, therefore you should use the Samsung tab of the Change Book Type feature of ImgBurn. Also, by default, ImgBurn automatically changes the booktype for you on LG, Lite-On, NEC/Optiarc and Samsung burners, so you don't have to worry about it.
  12. That's a Samsung burner and ImgBurn automatically booktypes +R media to DVD-ROM on Samsung burners.
  13. Apply the TO03 firmware update (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. Also try burning at 4x, 6x or 8x to see if you get a better quality burn.
  14. If it gives that error again you might want to try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. Also make sure each one has the latest firmware available for them
  15. You probably need to convert them before burning, which you can with DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD and similar programs.
  16. Yes, Verbatim BluRay discs are very good. Also make sure you have the latest firmware on your burner (you can use ImgBurn to check for firmware updates).
  17. That option only applies to the Ez-Mode Picker screen.
  18. Tools -> Settings -> Don't Show Status Bar Messages By the way those are just quotes from movies/tv shows/etc.
  19. Try burning at 4x or 6x, and if that doesn't work, then try a lens cleaning disc on that burner.
  20. Your computer's memory could be bad. Try running a couple of passes with memtest.
  21. Did you verify that disc? Have you tried burning at 2.4x?
  22. You might want to try a lens cleaning disc on that burner to see if it helps. As for a new burner the latest models by Pioneer and Optiarc seem to be great burners, but you can also have a look over at cdfreaks forum for more opinions
  23. You could've used Duplex Secure's SPTD installer, which also has an Uninstall button
