  2. With Verify disabled you don't know if the burn is good or not. -- Verificare con disabilit
  3. There's newer firmware for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). The slowest speed your drive can burn that media is 4x but that shouldn't be a problem since slower doesn't necessarily mean a better quality burn. Also you should leave Verify enabled as that ensures the disc was correctly burned. -- (traduzione automatica) Non c'

  5. Also use the latest ImgBurn version: it has the option you want in the installer
  6. Aside from getting an external burner, which may not like that media just the same, yes, that's pretty much the only option.
  7. Update ImgBurn. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). If that still doesn't help, try a lens cleaning disc on that burner.

  9. You were ripped off because ImgBurn is freeware. Try getting a refund with whoever processed your payment.

  11. That fits OK on single-layer media. As for "cutting short" you should look in whichever program is generating the files since ImgBurn burns them as they are (no changes are made).
  12. LUK would do that if clickbank and the hosting service didn't demand too much personal information just for taking the site/service offline.
  13. Try burning at 4x or 6x. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. If it still doesn't work try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  14. There's newer firmware for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). Try burning at 6x or 8x to see if you get a better burn. That burner is very good and if you bought Verbatim 2.4x blanks it should work without problems.
  15. Defragment your D:\ drive and avoid using the computer while burning. Also leave Verify enabled as that ensures the disc was correctly burned. You could do with better quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  16. That's because there is no such option in ImgBurn Yes.
  17. You can try burning them with other burners and you might be able to get some of them to burn.
  18. You can try the 2.4x memorex if you want but there's a pretty big chance they won't work. And I know it was damaged in a previously failed burn because the number of sectors is wrong.
  19. That disc was damaged in a previous failed burn. You could try with a brand new blank but it doesn't seem that your burner support that media: notice how it shows only 2.4x available when that media is 8x rated. You could try burning that with other burners but it would be better if you used Verbatim 2.4x blanks and/or a normal-size external burner.
  20. You need to convert them with a program like DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar before burning.
  21. What you want is called multisession and ImgBurn currently doesn't support that.

  23. Yes, it's a limitation of all Samsung burners.
  24. I'm also using ICH9R in AHCI mode with Windows 7 and found this Intel Matrix Storage driver, which has been working fine. By the way, there's newer firmware for your burner, but you'll only be able to update after installing the matrix drivers. Also have a look at this utility as it can add a few nice extra features to your burner
  25. That happens when ImgBurn and the program you're dragging files/folders from are running at different levels. Either run both as a normal user or both as Administrator and it should work.
