Update ImgBurn.
Look for updated IDE drivers for your motherboard's chipset/controller, as something is messing up the communication.
Is the burner connected at the end of a good 80-wire IDE cable? Is it the master and the only device on the cable?

Try burning at 4x or 16x, and if that doesn't work, then try with Taiyo Yuden discs, or at least try with other brands until you find one that works.

By the way, AWS defaults to MAX speed if you haven't configured the Automatic Write Speed feature.
It was a good burn so the disc should be playable. The only thing that may improve burn quality is burning at 4x, but I'm not sure if that would help.
Have you tried that disc on other x360 consoles? Your x360 reader could be dirty or worn out
Try a lens cleaning disc on those drives. Also try all the available write speeds (slower doesn't always mean a better quality burn).
Now if they fail with Verbatim 2.4x blanks I'd ditch them and get a Pioneer burner
Update your burner's firmware and try again, but since it's too old and only supports 2.4x dual-layer burning, I think it'll only work with Verbatim 2.4x blanks.
Unfortunately there's no way to booktype with Matshita drives, although for DVD+R DL media they should do it automatically, provided that there were no burn/finalisation error(s).
Please post the whole log from that burn. As for your Lite-On burner, insert a new blanks disc and post here the exact message that ImgBurn shows in the status bar.
ImgBurn is just a burning tool: it doesn't handle video/audio at all. What goes in is what comes out.
If you want to have more than 1 clip on a DVD you need to add the clips in DVD Flick so that it encodes all of them to the size of one disc.
You've been scammed: ImgBurn is freeware and can't copy protected discs, which all games are. Try gettting a refund with whoever processed your payment.
