  1. Low quality media was the problem here. Didn't you have Verbatim blanks?
  2. I think you should return/exchange those discs, because your burner doesn't seem to support them. As for the Media ID they could be fakes.
  3. Update ImgBurn. Look for updated IDE drivers for your motherboard's chipset/controller, as something is messing up the communication. Is the burner connected at the end of a good 80-wire IDE cable? Is it the master and the only device on the cable?
  4. Update ImgBurn. With ImgBurn in Write mode and one of those blanks in the drive, please copy and paste here the text shown in the Information box.
  5. Please post the log from when that happened (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  6. This is the real error, which means the drive couldn't write to that disc. What's the brand of that media?
  7. Update ImgBurn. Try burning at 4x or 16x, and if that doesn't work, then try with Taiyo Yuden discs, or at least try with other brands until you find one that works.
  8. Look for updated drivers for your motherboard's chipset (or IDE controller if it's a separate card). Have you looked at this post? By the way, AWS defaults to MAX speed if you haven't configured the Automatic Write Speed feature.
  9. Then install the latest matrix driver because the one you have is outdated and could be the cause of the I/O hang.
  10. It was a good burn so the disc should be playable. The only thing that may improve burn quality is burning at 4x, but I'm not sure if that would help. Have you tried that disc on other x360 consoles? Your x360 reader could be dirty or worn out
  11. Try a lens cleaning disc on those drives. Also try all the available write speeds (slower doesn't always mean a better quality burn). Now if they fail with Verbatim 2.4x blanks I'd ditch them and get a Pioneer burner
  12. Without the log we don't even if it was a good burn or not, so please post the log from that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  13. Update your burner's firmware and try again, but since it's too old and only supports 2.4x dual-layer burning, I think it'll only work with Verbatim 2.4x blanks.
  14. ImgBurn couldn't lock up your computer even if it wanted to. Have you tried installing this and this?
  15. As a last attempt, try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. If that doesn't help then it's time for a new as spinner said
  16. Unfortunately there's no way to booktype with Matshita drives, although for DVD+R DL media they should do it automatically, provided that there were no burn/finalisation error(s).
  17. Which operational system are you using? Do you use any program that changes the way it works?
  18. Please post the whole log from that burn. As for your Lite-On burner, insert a new blanks disc and post here the exact message that ImgBurn shows in the status bar.
  19. ImgBurn is just a burning tool: it doesn't handle video/audio at all. What goes in is what comes out. If you want to have more than 1 clip on a DVD you need to add the clips in DVD Flick so that it encodes all of them to the size of one disc.
  20. Then you should add the clips in DVD Flick, not ImgBurn.
  21. Read again my post above, and this time pay attention
  22. Post the log of that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  23. You've been scammed: ImgBurn is freeware and can't copy protected discs, which all games are. Try gettting a refund with whoever processed your payment.
  24. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive, and if that doesn't help, you might want to get an external burner.
