  1. If that's the BIOS for your motherboard then you should make it look like this: http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/image.html?i...nFfMl81X2wuZ2lm (Integrated Peripherals -> South Configuration notice the Serial ATA RAID Mode is in disabled)
  2. ImgBurn can't read protected discs.
  3. Please follow this guide: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6380 Let us know how it turns out
  4. New everything and old ImgBurn? How's that possible? Anyway, please install the latest version
  5. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  6. You don't need to change anything in DC Bass Source, the default settings are fine. And ImgBurn converts audio on-the-fly, so no temporary files are created
  7. That's a virtual drive. You need to look in VMWare's documentation on how to allow the guest OS to directly access the system's burner(s).
  8. BSODs are caused by driver problems and/or bad memory sticks, so make sure your drivers are up to date and test your memory with memtest+
  9. The tray cycling is part of the Verify process and is needed to ensure the drive can properly recognize/initialise the burned disc. If you want to disable this then untick 'Cycle Tray Before Verify' in Tools -> Settings -> Write tab, but be aware that the burned disc might not be 100% good, especially if you're not using high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  10. That's not an ImgBurn log. Please try and get the program's log so that we can see what's the problem and advise on how to solve it
  11. Please re-read posts #8 and #17 of this thread. There's nothing else to do besides those two options.
  12. Follow this guide: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4643
  13. Your burner doesn't like the discs you're using. Get Taiyo Yuden blanks if you can, or at least try a few different brands until you find one that works for you
  14. Bets on 'Test Mode: Yes' anyone? You can find older logs at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs.

  17. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and see how it goes
  18. You should use an hex editor to edit the .mds file
  19. Your problem is low quality media. Get Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and it should work fine
  20. What's the brand of the blanks you're using?
  21. The default settings are OK, no need to change anything besides filesystem, as your player doesn't support UDF as most do
  22. I doubt it's related to the system being new or not. Burning relies on the burner/firmware/media combination, and since burner and firmware haven't changed, what else is left? Have you considered that your current batch of media may be lower quality than the one you used with the older system?
  23. That media isn't supported by that burner (it's probably using a generic write strategy that obviously isn't working with that crappy dye). The best solution is really to use Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks, as they've been around since forever (actually ever since dual-layer burning was available) and are supported by most burners
  24. Did you disconnect the drive before the burn failed? Make sure it's connected directly to the computer (i.e. no hubs/etc).
