  1. Can you post the log from when you've burned the disc? You'll find it further down in the ImgBurn.log file.
  2. 1) there's an option in the settings (Build tab) that allows you to always use the default suggested name, and although this is what works for you, it isn't the best option for most people. 2) when there wasn't icons/buttons people complained that they had to dig in the menus to find what they wanted, again it's down to what you like not being what most people prefer. 3) not even a slight chance of happening, since a program that doesn't stick to its original name always loses users in the transition. This could be said from DVD Decrypter, whose burn engine was made batter and turned into ImgBurn, yet a lot of people still use the former program for burning. Some people (you can see many thread in this very forum about this) don't even bother to update ImgBurn purely because they think the newer version has no improvements and/or is different from the old version (/myrant) Please notice that these are my own opinions and may not reflect the author's opinions, which will be expressed in due time
  3. Go to Tools -> Settings -> Build tab, untick Create AUDIO_TS Folder and hit OK (creation of CERTIFICATE folder is linked to this option in ImgBurn 2.4.2.0) The "No Disc" message sort of gives away that the player was unable to read data from the disc and not the presence or not of the CERTIFICATE folder (I think it would say something like "Invalid Disc/Format"). What brand and type of media you're using? Do you verify your burns? If it's BD-R/BD-RE, do you have FastWrite disabled or enabled?
  4. May we ask why you're not using the latest ImgBurn?
  5. Please post the log from that burn (you can find it at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
  6. That's not something ImgBurn can do by itself since it doesn't convert anything. You can find lots of guides at http://www.videohelp.com/ MediaInfo might be useful for you
  7. In that case add just the folders 2006 and 2007 and they'll be in the root of the disc.
  8. Someone didn't look in Tools menu -> Settings -> Shutdown Action...
  9. Add just the E:\Photos folder (Preserve Full Pathnames should be unticked) and ImgBurn will ask you if that folder is the root of your disc, to which you should answer Yes
  10. Please post the log from one of the failed burns (Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs)
  11. Do those blanks show the right size on other burners? It seems your drive can't properly recognise those blanks, so the only solution is to try other CD-R brands.
  12. In ImgBurn, go to Tools -> Filter Driver Load Order. Use the clipboard button to copy the filter list then please post it here
  13. With ImgBurn open in Write mode and a blank CD-R in your burner, please post all the text shown in the Information pane. By the way, ImgBurn gets this info directly from the drive, so it seems your burner needs a firmware update.
  14. You might have more luck using those blanks with other DVD burners, as your TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552L doesn't seem to support burning them
  15. If you use really cheap fuel on your car and it doesn't even start, do you also not understand why it doesn't work? We recommend Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks (esp. the 2.4x MKM-001-00 dye made in Singapore ones) because their quality is higher than all the other brands/manufacturers, and they work when many others failed
  16. Try with Verbatim DVD+R Dual Layer 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks and it should work As lfcrule1972 said above, DVD-R DL media isn't as reliable as DVD+R DL media
  17. Get Verbatim DVD+R Dual Layer 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks, as they're the best dual layer media available, and then follow this guide to burn your dual-layer DVD
  18. Please read this post from the FAQ
  19. The media you're using is :& Get Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks and you'll get good burns on all of them
  20. The log is automagically saved by ImgBurn so have a look at Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs and it'll probably be there
  21. Use DVD Flick (free) or VSO ConvertXtoDVD (paid) to convert your AVI file to DVD-Video format, then follow this guide to burn the generated VIDEO_TS folder to disc. The disc will be playable on any standard DVD player
  22. Use ImgBurn's Build mode ("Create image file from files/folders"), add the folders of your BluRay disc and set the filesystem to UDF 2.50. Save the ISO image, mount it and try playing in PowerDVD
  23. There's firmware 1.02 available for your burner at http://au.lgservice.com/ (it's in Device Driver -> DVD-ROM(Writer) -> page 2). remove any disc and close the tray before updating. Reboot after the update has finished.
  24. Get memtest and let it running for a few passes to test your computer's memory.
