The program name is ImgBurn, not ImgConvertMyVideo Not to mention that DVD Flick uses ImgBurn to create ISO images and burn the converted videos to media
-
Open the one closer to you (or MSI Global if you're in doubt) and find the drivers for your motherboard model
-
If it isn't protected then ImgBurn can copy it just fine

Burn slows at 37% then fails after a few hours --Resolved

You've put that code on where MKM-001-00 was? -
Are you looking at the right place?

Alternatively you could use SIW

From what we can see the disc was properly burned. Have you tried this disc on other xboxes?

ImgBurn seems to be waiting for an answer from your drive and Windows I/O remains stuck while that doesn't happen (that's how it works unfortunately) Return ImgBurn to its default settings (Tools -> Settings -> click Restore Defaults button and answer Yes) and try again. What's the Media ID of those Memorex discs? Even though you're using the same brand, the dye they've used to manufacture the disc could be different. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks (the ones rated 8x preferably), as these are known to have consistently high quality dyes.

That's usually caused by poor quality media and/or dirty lens in the burner

This wasn't with the very same blank disc, was it? It failed at exactly the same spot, which is odd if it isn't the very same disc. Anyway, your writer doesn't seem to support those 8x rated Verbatim blanks. You could try and get Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks, or you could buy a new burner Also, which controller is the drive connected to? Are you using the latest storage drivers available for it? -
Software error unable to create or replace file
mmalves replied to SCUBASTEEV0331's topic in ImgBurn Support
If ImgBurn is called from another program, browse to ImgBurn's folder (usually "C:\Program Files\ImgBurn"), right-click on ImgBurn.exe, choose Properties, Compatibility tab, tick 'Always run as Administrator' (or similar option) and click OK. That way ImgBurn will always be run with proper rights and will be able to perform everything it needs -
4x is the only available speed so selecting 2x doesn't change anything Do you get errors when you perform a Full Erase on this disc?

Could a file get burned during the layer break?
mmalves replied to Sigma X Virus's topic in ImgBurn Support
For data discs the layer break is calculated automatically and it's unlikely that you'll notice a pause when playing the AVI files, unless they're high bitrate/framerate Here's what I would do: build the dual-layer ISO image and look in the log for the layer break position mount the .MDS file with Daemon Tools (or similar program) and use IsoBuster to see which file spans across the layer break (you can even estimate at which point in the file the layer break happens) play the file and check if a small pause (usually less than a fifth of a second) would be very noticeable You could go one step further and use file system padding (it's in Tools -> Settings -> Build tab) to force the layer break to be between files, but this is quite a bit of work Or you could go the easy route and use single-layer discs instead //edit: I forgot to mention that all of this applies to DVD+R DL only. If you're using DVD-R DL the layer break position can't be changed (it's a limitation of the DVD-R DL standard not ImgBurn's ) -
It seems your drive is having problems burning that media, but it didn't tell this to ImgBurn, or else you'd see the error message reported by the drive. Even though the burn speed was set to MAX, the only available speed is 2.4x, which could indicate that the burner doesn't properly support this media. Try and get Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks and it should work. Also check with the laptop manufacturer if there's a newer firmware available for that burner.

Software error unable to create or replace file
mmalves replied to SCUBASTEEV0331's topic in ImgBurn Support
Right-click on ImgBurn's shortcut and choose Run as Administrator. Alternatively, save the ISO image to your My Documents folder (or any folder inside it) If you're going to burn that on a disc, you can do it directly with the 'Write files/folder to disc' option (i.e. no need to create an ISO image before burning to disc) -
Please post the log from that burn (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs)
-
Then you'll have to mount that image with Daemon Tools (or similar program) and use DVD Flick/VSO ConvertXtoDVD/etc to convert the video to DVD format
-
BIN/CUE images are for burning on CDs, not DVDs Mount your .cue file with Daemon Tools (or similar program) and try playing that with Media Player Classic, VLC Media Player or other players.

I/O Buffer trouble when higher than 330MB on 2.4.2.0
mmalves replied to goldenfingaz's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
It's not a bug: that happened because you didn't have enough available memory for a 512 MB buffer. When you start ImgBurn, the 3rd line from the Log window tells you how much available memory there was when ImgBurn was started. -
Have you tried at 4x or 6x? Laptop burners are very picky about media. You'd have better results with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks By the way, you should leave Verify enabled, to ensure the data was properly burnt on those discs.
-
Also please update to the latest ImgBurn 2.4.2.0 -> http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

With ImgBurn in Write mode, insert a blank disc in your burner and look in the Information area to the right of ImgBurn's window: there it'll be listed the Supported Write Speeds available with your media/burner/firmware combination. You can't force it to burn at speeds other than the ones listed (the command is sent by ImgBurn but it's up to the drive to obey it or not). Anyway, slower isn't always better in DVD burning world: most quality media (such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks) give best results when burned at 8x or 12x, especially on newer burners, which are optimized for faster burns. If you have a BenQ, Lite-On, Plextor or one of the newer Samsung burners, you can scan your discs to check their burn quality with programs like DVDInfoPro or Ner0 Disc Speed Make sure you're using quality media (Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden) and that your burner has the latest firmware available for it and you should have good burns at any speeds

The tray is cycled to ensure the drive can properly recognize the disc after burning it (it's another step to make a proper verification), but anyway, to disable this tray cycling, untick 'Cycle Tray Before Verify' in Tools -> Settings -> Write tab, or simply disable the Verify option alltogether, since you don't seem to care about it

The latest firmware for DVR-109 is 1.58, so check if you're using this version. The firmware version is shown at the top-right of the Information area of most of ImgBurn's modes
