  1. Please post the full log from that burn attempt (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  2. Possibly (un)related -> http://www.cracked.com/article_16335_7-inn...d-overseas.html
  3. For some reason the drive is unable to read that disc. Is it dirty/scratched? Try reading it on other computers and you might be able to copy it.

    GREAT NEWS!

How about a Peel P50? (you need to type a few letters then wait 45 seconds before being able to download the video) P.S.: if you're in the UK and don't watch Top Gear, you should be ashamed of yourself! Brilliant show!
  5. Have you tried SPTI with the option 'Use CdRom class' unticked?
  6. Open WinRAR, then go to Tools/Wizard, it should be pretty self-explanatory from there
  7. Use UDF 1.02 (it's the older and the most compatible of the revisions) and try with Verbatim DVD+R DLs 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks, as they're known for giving the best results on most burners. On Samsung burners (maybe others brands too) you get better results burning them at 4x.
  8. Depends on which program you used to split the files. Once I've used WinRAR's 'Create SFX Archive' option coupled with the 'Split to volumes' option to split a 7.96GB file onto 12 CDs and it worked pretty well: you run the .exe from the first CD and, when it asks for the next part, you insert the next disc. After the last disc your file is ready to use
  9. The 'ask for a 2nd disc' part should be done with the installer application you're going to use. Once you've got which files must go on disc 1 and which must go on disc 2, you can use ImgBurn's Build mode to burn those files to each disc. Have a look in the Guides section
  10. The option you want to disable is 'Cycle Tray Before Verify' in Tools/Settings/Write tab. By the way, changing this option doesn't change the fact that your burner doesn't like the old media you're using and will keep doing bad burns on it.
  11. My guess is that you need to convert your MPEG file to DVD-Video format with a program like DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar
  12. That burner is old and doesn't have a write strategy for the blanks you're trying to burn. Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4 MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore probably will work with your burner, but a new burner wouldo also ensure a high quality burn
  13. Use WinRAR/7-Zip to extract the files from the ISO images. Alternatively you can mount the ISO images to a virtual drive (like Daemon Tools) and copy the files over to your HD.
  14. Update to the latest ImgBurn version (get from the ImgBurn.com mirror) and use better media, such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Those MBI blanks you're using are awful :&
  15. Verbatim DVD+R DLs 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks are known to work when many others failed. If you're in doubt, buy a small pack (3 blanks for example) and try them out
  16. Please do that. And please get and install the latest ImgBurn from the ImgBurn.com mirror
  17. Get Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore and you'll have a good burn. And yes, the DVD-R DL standard doesn't allow the layerbreak to be changed
  18. Please post a log of that burn (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs). And please keep using the latest ImgBurn version (get from the ImgBurn.com mirror).
  19. Also update ImgBurn to the latest version (get from the ImgBurn.com mirror). Where did you get that 1-04 firmware? By the way, when burning from the .dvd file you don't need to manually set the layerbreak, so it might be a good idea to set it back to 'Calculate Optimal'
  20. Please post a log of one of the failed burns (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs).
  21. What bug? You didn't post a log showing which error you're having. Please do that and we'll help you In ImgBurn go to Help/ImgBurn Logs, open ImgBurn.log and there you'll be able to find the log(s) from when you've used ImgBurn v2.4.1.0 and the error(s) you had with it.
  22. The problem is still there: you're just ignoring it by using an older version of ImgBurn. You're also ignoring a lot of important updates that the latest version has implemented
  23. The problem is still there: you're just ignoring it by using an older version of ImgBurn. You're also ignoring a lot of important updates that the latest version has implemented
  24. I'm sorry, but how is this related to ImgBurn? Anyway, you'll have to look for 'normalize volume' or equivalent option in the program you're using to convert the videos to DVD.
  25. If the slowest speed available is 4x, then use that speed By the way, the supported write speeds are dependant on your burner/firmware/media combination.
