  1. Change your current data cable for a new 80-wire IDE cable, plug only the burner and set it to Master. Also look for updated drivers for your motherboard chipset.
  2. ImgBurn only shows the 'Current Media' field when output is set to device and there's a blank disc in the drive: If there's no disc in the drive, or it's a burned/pressed disc, ImgBurn displays the usual 'Min. Req. Media' field
  3. Go to Tools/Settings/Write tab, untick Cycle Tray Before Verify and hit OK
  4. Post a log from one of such burns (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs) so that we can see what's happening
  5. Unfortunately, no... It was already a GIF animation when I found it...
  6. Please have a look at this excellent guide made by Cynthia: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...ost&p=66437
  7. Follow this guide and select the .dvd file as the image to burn
  8. ImgBurn burns the data as it is, so the problem is elsewhere
  9. Are those the latest drivers? I'm asking because something is blocking/modifying the booktype command. Even though the drive doesn't report the current setting, when you do a manual booktype to DVD-ROM it should say Success.
  10. You have to upload the picture to a server like ImageShack and then, in My Controls (top of the page) -> Edit Avatar Settings, paste the direct link in the 'Enter URL to an online avatar image' field and click Update Avatar, that should work
  11. If manually setting the booktype is failing then your SATA driver/chipset could be blocking it. Have a look at this post and see if it applies to you.
  12. Those are low quality discs, so try burning at 8x, maybe 12x, and see how it goes. You don't need to remove AnyDVD: just make sure you're using the latest version available and that it's disabled while burning with ImgBurn. By the way, in the log it shows 'Book Type Setting: N/A' because the drive doesn't report it, but I can assure you it does booktype properly, provided that you're using ImgBurn's default settings.
  13. SB03 is at the first page of Samsung ODD's Firmware page Posting a log of one of these failed burns also would help
  14. Please post the log (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn Logs)
  15. Set hjsplit to split at 4482 MB and you'll be able to burn it to a DVD+R
  16. You're still having the same problem? Are you using Verbatim 2.4x MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore blanks? Please post a recent log
  17. You'll have to ask the openSUSE people about that, as you want to modify their installation method
  18. http://software.opensuse.org/ By the way, you can use WinRAR (or 7-Zip if prefer) to open the *.part01.rar file of each DVD archive set and see what's inside (probably an ISO image).
  19. From the FAQ: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=969 This might also help: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6659
  20. //edit: at least for me the *glitch* is gone
  21. Your game probably uses protection against copying and, since this isn't a problem when using ImgBurn itself, we can't help you
  22. It seems you're trying to burn more data than the disc can handle. Please post the log from that attempt, which you can find at Help/ImgBurn Logs
