  1. In the Options tab enable Recurse Subdirectories, which is enabled by default. Better yet, click on Reset Settings and confirm, as you may have changed other important settings. //edit too slow again
  2. Look in the Storage Controllers branch then. If you have an Intel controller then you should install this.

  4. Don't you have other SATA ports aside from those on the the VIA RAID controller? If not then you'll need to try the burner on another computer.
  5. That guide is for creating an Audio CD, i.e. a disc that plays in pretty much any device that can read a CD. If your player supports MP3 disc then you should use the Build mode to burn those MP3s to a disc.
  6. If you used DVD Flick then surely you can start the conversion from scratch and add the menu, can't you?
  7. You'll need to use a dvd authoring tool to do that.
  8. ImgBurn can't do this. You should use a full-fledged backup tool for doing that, like Norton Ghost or Acronis TrueImage.
  9. We don't have a release date yet.
  10. Then your options are: clean the drive with a lens cleaning disc and try again; use high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks; get a new burner.
  11. If you want to burn it as it is then use the Build mode. If you want to burn what's inside it then you'll need to extract before burning.
  12. Try the other write speeds.
  13. If you uncheck the "I accept the license agreement (...)" option then the toolbar isn't installed.
  14. ImgBurn has command line switches that you can use to automate its operation (they're described in the Read Me file), but notice that ImgBurn is a GUI application and it won't run "hidden" from the user.
  15. If you do a burn with Test Mode enabled it should say in the log if the CD-Text is being used or not.

  17. If it was useless then I wouldn't be asking for it, would I?
  18. Post the log of the burn.
  19. Post the log of the burn.
  20. It's either the media or the burner, so let's try the cheaper option first
  21. Have you tried burning at 4x? If it doesn't work then you should contact Verbatim and ask them to exchange your blanks.
  22. Make a disk image from the bootable floppy then fill the information in Advanced -> Bootable Disc tab in ImgBurn's Build mode. If you think that's too difficult then give me a link to the files (you can send in private message if you want) and I'll make it for you.

    ImgBurn

Slim burners are rubbish at best so your only chance of good burns is by using the good stuff
  24. Some antivirus/anti-malware programs don't like the UPX compression used in ImgBurn's executable, so disable your antivirus/anti-malware (or add ImgBurn.exe to its allowed/whitelist) and check if the problem goes away. Alternatively you could decompress ImgBurn.exe and it should work fine.
  25. If you have a CD-RW you could burn that image to disc and check if the CD-Text is correct.
