  1. Extract the ISO image from the attached ZIP archive and burn it to a CD-R/CD-RW (ensure the Verify option is enabled). It should boot and start the flasher automatically TOSHIBA_BIOS.zip
  2. Try burning at 6x or 8x. Also try a lens cleaning disc on your burner.
  3. Sorry, I don't know of any Have a look over at doom9's forum, you can find good free stuff there
  4. I think I can make a bootable disc image for you but I'll need this file: Can you upload it to rapidshare or some other host and send the link?
  5. ImgBurn isn't an authoring program, so if you want your videos in proper BD Video structure then you'll need to use a BluRay authoring tool to prepare your disc before burning.
  6. Try getting the "premium" real Verbatim blanks or the Taiyo Yuden blanks (they're easily found online). As a last resort, maybe the Sony 16x rated blanks (used some of them myself some time ago and they worked fine so currently they're my 3rd choice).
  7. Have a look in Tools -> Settings -> Build tab -> page 2
  8. Well, if you want to waste a disc then burn from the .mds file as it has the layerbreak information. Even if you select the .iso file ImgBurn will tell you off and use .mds instead.
  9. Game discs are protected against copying, and ImgBurn makes no attempt to workaround/bypass their protection. I'm sorry but we can't help with this part. If you manage to copy the original disc or obtain it in some other way, it's very easy to burn it.
  10. Try this firmware update for your Lite On DVD-ROM drive. If it doesn't solve the problem then you'll need to disable it in Device Manager before using ImgBurn.
  11. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=59&view=findpost&p=972 - most likely it's an old DVD-ROM or burner you have that's hanging, but we can only be sure if we have that log.
  12. While you're at it, please also read this and this.
  13. The burn process relies on the burner/firmware/media combination; the software just feeds the data in the correct order. You're already using the best dual-layer media of the market, so all you can try is another burner.
  14. Try a lens cleaning disc on that burner, or even manually cleaning the burner's lens if you know how to do it. If that doesn't help then you should get an external, non-slim burner.
  15. You'll have to try to find out.
  16. ImgBurn doesn't support adding files to an existing disc, also known as multisession burning.
  17. The disc was read fine by your Lite On burner, which means it's good. If your Wii doesn't play it then the burn quality may be too low.
  18. I'm not sure which new burner would be better for CDs but take a look over at cdfreaks and their tests with CD media writing quality As for Taiyo Yuden media, are you sure you were looking at CD-Rs and not DVD-R/DVD+R?
  19. The slowest speed doesn't always result in a better burn, so you should try burning at 16x and 24x to test them out. Did you leave Verify enabled? That's what tells you if the disc was a good burn or not. As for CD-R media, Taiyo Yuden is the best you can get, and you can usually find it in online shops. A good quality new burner could help too. Now, on another note, you do know that you can play PS1 games on a PS2 console and even on your computer, right? At least in my opinion, it isn't worth all the trouble for the PS1's finicky reader drive.
  20. What do you get if you use your other drive to verify that disc against the ISO image?
  21. And where's the log from the new burn?
  22. As I said before, the problem is with your source files.
  23. ImgBurn burns stuff as-is, i.e. nothing is changed. You can get around that by converting your VOB file to another format your media center support, or perhaps by making a proper DVD-Video structure using DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar programs.
