i like my pioneer, i just wish it would bitset +r to rom
find a good online retailer , they should have the media id listed on their site
there are so many that cant burn to cmc you wouldn't believe it
you may have had some luck with these discs but , they are as you have said crap. i wouldn't expect to be able to read the ones you have had success with at a later date
try verbatim or taiyo yuden
there has been a collaboration between imgburn and dvd infopro, in that the imgburn graph data can only be shown using dvd infopro.
you can use any programme you want to scan the disc for quality but i prefer dvd infopro , personally i dont really like cd/dvd speed for scanning
if the drive is having difficulty reading the burnt disc back it will slow the speed down until it can read it so a smooth gradient verify means it had no problems reading the burnt disc
whats wrong with this guide then?

if you are trying to write to single layer media its just the same without the layer break windows
just incase you have not seen the guides on this forum they are here http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=4
the 1655 can scan, the pioneer 111 can't., and it(111) cant auto booktype on +r, only dual layer, plex is slow at scanning too, but can auto booktype as can the benq
no long weekend here in Denmark, just wind and rain for a change. no point in washing the car , the roads are covered in earth as they are harvesting between the rainfall
your supported write speed for those discs are 4x so you cant burn them at 8x even though your burner may be an 8x drive
try turning buffer recovery off in settings, see if it helps you with the buffer message
'try getting some better media too
