  1. What, ImgBurn says that? It doesn't sound like an ImgBurn message.
  2. Can you post the family tree info again please. Also, don't forget to try in safe mode. It might also be worth going into your BIOS and seeing if it works when the controller is set to IDE mode.
  3. It only goes back 5000 lines iirc. If you burn loads, that limit will quickly be reached and old entries will be removed. If you uninstall the program, the log gets deleted.
  4. It's certainly worth a try. If that fails, boot up in safe mode and see if you get the same errors.
  5. You can't fix what a drive doesn't support in the first place... and that's my stand on this matter until I see otherwise (by means of a log, screenshots etc.). You haven't posted a log so I can't make any suggestions on burning it some other way.
  6. I've never seen them work on anything other than LiteOn and Asus drives.
  7. Really? I just googled 'rapid storage technology 10.8' and the first result was the download page on Intel's website. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=20768
  8. That's correct, those options will not work with Pioneer drives.
  9. Ok, it uses the H57 chipset. Try loading on the v10.8 rapid storage tech driver then, that's the one I'm using. Check for motherboard bios updates too.
  10. Download CPU-Z, run it and switch to the 'Mainboard' tab. Take a screenshot of it and post it please. http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
  11. It doesn't really matter, it'll fail to send it to that drive anyway and you'll be left trying to burn an image onto a disc that isn't big enough for it.
  12. What version is on there now? You aren't getting the real error from the drive, it's being swallowed up by Windows / the drivers. Which chipset does your motherboard actually use? Do you know which series it is? Z68, Z77, Z87 etc?
  13. You'll have to buy the right hardware for burning those oversized images properly.
  14. Then you should try the other suggestions.
  15. It isn't, no.
  16. OpenCandy is an advertising plugin for installers. http://www.opencandy.com/
  17. Try some different versions of the Intel rapid storage technology drivers.
  18. It's probably due to the controller you've attached the drive to and its drivers. Right click the drive selection box when you're in Write mode and select 'Family Tree'. Close the box that comes up and then copy + paste everything from the Log window please.
  19. You don't need to do anything manually, the program takes care of it all automatically. Post a log of you burning and verifying a DVD+R DL disc.
  20. It doesn't pop up adverts. OpenCandy inserts a page (or two... or maybe none) in the installation wizard offering you a 3rd party app. Accept the offer(s) or decline it(them), the choice is yours. If you decline it(them), you'll only get ImgBurn and that is 100% clean.
  21. From what I've seen in other people's log files, the booktype stuff seems to work ok on DVD+R DL discs. What are you trying to burn / booktype to DVD-ROM?
  22. Try burning faster. If that fails, clean the drive with a cleaning disc. If that fails, buy some different discs or another drive.
  23. Sorry, no. It does these things in a loop and you're asking for a user specific request here really.
