If you used 'standard' input mode, the project file will only contain the name of the folder you added - so when you load the project again, it'll end up burning everything currently in it and not just what was in it when you created the project file. The project file saves the volume labels you've entered, so those will get restored too.

Because that's what you're sending the data to. Drives can accept as much data as will fit in their cache/internal buffer. That data then sits there waiting to be written to the disc. The sync cache command tells the drive there isn't going to be any more data and that it should burn everything left in the buffer and do whatever else it needs to do before then saying it's ready for the next step in burning a disc.

You can't fix it. The speeds are controlled by the drive and its firmware. If the lowest it can do is 8x, I'm afraid that's what you're stuck with.

They're just google Adsense boxes. It puts whatever it wants into them.

Buy the mkm-003-00 mid verbatim 8x discs.

couldn't create cue or write cue with flac on windows 8.1

Try again with madFlac. It should work ok once installed properly. Of course if that error is from somewhere higher up the chain, it may not! -
Burn is verified only after tray pops out and pushed in

Because checking the drive can reinitialise the disc is part of the verification process. -
Invalid field in CDB, no matter what I choose.

There's no list, no. I've a cupboard full of drives and most of those are generic LG/Optiarc/LiteOn ones. I don't recall any of those not supporting the book type commands (or they just do it automatically on DVD+R DL). Your LG is a Dell / HP part though right? Try cross flashing it to a real drive and see if it's any better. Oh and of course don't forget to switch to the LG tab for the correct book type commands! http://club.myce.com/f61/lg-gsa-h31n-firmware-update-does-even-exist-260581/ -

I never said that not entering anything would magically fix your issue, I said that what you're doing (with typing stuff in) has nothing to do with you manually trying the various book type functions. Like I said in my previous post, drives shipped in pcs are often cut down versions that lack support for the book type functions. Buy a new drive from a computer supplies place. -
You'd need a player that can play PAL stuff. No, ImgBurn doesn't convert anything.

Your drive / system is returning a DMA related error (communication error) , so it's probably the cable to the drive. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in again. Replace the cable. Change the port it's plugged in to.

device not ready, unable to recover toc

What are you trying to do? Your drive can't burn DVDs, only read them. It's a CD burner. -
No, that requires raw mode burning (for sub-channel stuff) and ImgBurn doesn't do it.

You don't need to type anything in if you're manually trying the booktype functions, that's not what it's for or how the program works. HL-DT-ST is LG, the program already knows that and the 'automatic change booktype to DVD-ROM' feature would already be active and working on that drive if it supports the normal LG command for changing the booktype. Lots of drives that come in computers do not support the commands used to change the booktype (they strip support for it in the firmware). Drives you buy from a computer spares place will have the full/un-edited firmware on them and work just fine. -
You may benefit from updating the firmware on the drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GGW-H20L/files.html It may fix the issue you're having when trying to burn 'CMCMAG-BA5-000' media. Hopefully your new drive will support it anyway.

Turn off 'Perform OPC', re-enable Burn-Proof (it's always on for DVD+R anyway so it's pointless turning it off to 'aid' with burning DVD+R DL) and then clear the drive's OPC history. As your errors aren't in the common place for when +R DL discs are being overburnt, I'm inclined to say you just have a bad spindle of discs. Still, I'd try what I said above and then post a kprobe scan of the next disc you burn.

OpenCandy design the pages and they can change the offer you're given each time you run the installer. It's all dynamic and controlled from their end. You should direct your question about how to opt out of that offer to them, because I have no idea I'm afraid.

Is there a message in status bar? What does it say? I've never had it do that so it's probably something specific to your machine.

If the LiteOn options don't just work, the drive's firmware simply doesn't support their booktype command set. -
Get the proper MKM-003-00 discs.

Slightly Confused About the Create MDS File Option

What's in the ini file exactly? Attach one or copy + paste its contents please. -
The page designs are nothing to do with me. OpenCandy does all that stuff.

You need certain hardware to perform that task. Have a read around some xbox related forums.

What do the buffers look like when it's verifying at that speed? Get a screenshot when it's at a steady verify rate please. btw, you can update the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/WH10LS30/files.html
