Erasing disc......... and sticks there!
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Lady_Freemason's topic in ImgBurn Support
So there's no % complete mentioned in the status bar of the main window? Formatting would take 15 mins or so. Right click the drive 'drop down' selection box and click 'Family Tree'. Close the prompt and then copy + paste everything from the Log window again please. -
Erasing disc......... and sticks there!
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Lady_Freemason's topic in ImgBurn Support
Install the current release and try again. If you still have the same problem, post a new log. -
So that disc was one of the good ones? I need the disc info from a disc that wouldn't verify. You don't need to have changed anything for your drive/firmware/media combo to mess up - it's a hardware thing and nothing to do with ImgBurn.
-
It should be fine, I extended the timeout when waiting for the drive to become 'Ready'.
-
Had it (the drive) replied with that info the first time around, verification would have actually passed initial checks and started properly.
-
Either you're talking about the 'calculate' option which fills out the 'Information' tab on the right, or you normally use the 'disc layout editor' editor window having changed to 'advanced' input mode. Basically, everything is still there.
-
I don't remember 'ProdiscF02' having ever been classed as 'good' discs! Can you put one of the burnt ones back in the drive, switch to Read mode and then copy + paste the disc info from the box on the right please.

Repeated recording errors (Tracking Servo Failure?)

It looks like your drive is messing up... try investing in some decent discs. Cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc may help too.
-
Post the log so we can see what actually happened please - as per the pink box up the top

Waiting for buffers to recover and 8x write rates?
LIGHTNING UK! replied to dbminter's topic in ImgBurn Support
There's nothing in ImgBurn to change the write speed during the burn. It's probably the drive. They usually do a similar thing if the disc is hard to read (spin down to a slower speed). -
If those clips are already in DVD video format, that's not going to work - the files will want to overwrite each other - as seen in your screenshot. You'd need to use an authoring program to combine them and then burn the combined version.
-
If it burns and verifies ok, it should at least be partly readable in other drives. Scan it with kprobe and check the burn quality. If it looks ok then it's probably the drive in your xbox. Burn quality has nothing to do with the program itself. I couldn't make it better/worse if I tried.
-
That's their (your?) problem, not mine. Tell them to add the command line switch to set the correct 'output' method ('/BUILDOUTPUTMODE ').

create cue file: set no cd-performer but yet cd-performer exist
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Geek's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
Ah, this is because it's reading the 'Album Performer/Title' tags from the file and using that regardless of the Disc level CD-TEXT setting. I've now made sure it only uses that info if the Disc level is also set to use Tags. Thanks for the report. -
And post a log showing this issue please.

How To Get "Eject Tray" Function To Stay Active?
LIGHTNING UK! replied to burni's topic in ImgBurn Support
You want the 'write' one. If BD Rebuilder has an option to eject the tray, I assume that would do the job too if it's what's calling up ImgBurn in the first place. -
How To Get "Eject Tray" Function To Stay Active?
LIGHTNING UK! replied to burni's topic in ImgBurn Support
No, not if it's part of a write operation. -
create cue file: set no cd-performer but yet cd-performer exist
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Geek's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
It must be something you're doing as I'm not getting that in my cue files when I don't specify any cd-text info. -
It always failed like that, you just weren't told about it until the most recent version. The 'effective' layer break is where you want it to be and that's all you need to be concerned with.
-
You should just select the video_ts folder. The program will take care of the rest. There are DVD video guides in the guides forum if you get stuck.
-
Next step? That would be to start building the image file or burning to disc... so just click the big 'Build' (or 'Write' ?) button on the left of the screen. You don't *need* to 'Calculate' at all. It's just an 'FYI' stage/feature.
-
Are you sure it's freezing and not just telling you that 14% of the disc (for whatever's listed as the media) is being used up?
-
There isn't I'm afraid, no. The best you could do is write a batch file that calls ImgBurn multiple times (waiting for previous instance to finish first) and passing a different iso / drive letter for the source / dest parameters. i.e. imgburn.exe /mode verify /source "image1.iso" /dest d: /start /close imgburn.exe /mode verify /source "image2.iso" /dest e: /start /close imgburn.exe /mode verify /source "image3.iso" /dest f: /start /close imgburn.exe /mode verify /source "image4.iso" /dest g: /start /close

Setup for ImgBurn 2.5.8 flagged as having a virus!
LIGHTNING UK! replied to santanulahiri's topic in ImgBurn Support
This is just a case of not understanding what you're looking at. It's flagged as 'PUP.Optional.OpenCandy'. PUP is 'potentially unwanted program'. The installer uses the OpenCandy platform (read their FAQ for more info) to make 3rd party product offerings as part of the installation wizard. You're free to decline them if you aren't interested. I guess that's where the 'Optional.OpenCandy' bit comes in.
