  1. Not with that MID you aren't.
  2. It looks like something on your system is preventing the OS from 'opening' the device and returning a 'handle' to ImgBurn. Try booting into safe mode and see if it does the same thing. You could try uninstalling the controller from within Device Manager and then reboot so the OS finds it all again. Please also post your filter driver info - you can find that feature in ImgBurn's Tools menu (do it from within Safe Mode).
  3. Did you actually read it?! Post the new log of you burning some Verbatim double layer discs instead then please.
  4. Click 'Calculate' on the 'Information' tab or switch the input mode to advanced.
  5. Your drive can't read that disc. Try it in another drive or give up trying (assuming the disc isn't obviously dirty / scratched ).
  6. That's part of the Intel Rapid Storage Tech drivers I believe. Maybe you can find a newer version that is signed if that's what you're worried about.
  7. It's nothing to do with ImgBurn. It's an issue with the drive and its firmware. Eject the disc and reinsert it until the drive initialises it properly and gives you the speeds you're expecting.
  8. Put that disc (from the above log) back in the drive and copy + paste the disc info from the box on the right when you're in Read mode please.
  9. Try some Verbatim discs then. If it still does the same thing, it's either your drive or your system as a whole.
  10. You may need OHT enabled for non verbatim discs. All of ImgBurn's settings can be left on their default values. Maybe try it with 'Perform OPC Before Write' enabled/disabled though as that one could actually make a difference. Make sure you clear OPC history at least once before trying stuff again though.
  11. The names in the file system are always alphabetical. Your player should be able to play based on the ID3 tags or whatever and so play the files by artist, album etc.
  12. If all you're burning is a single m2ts file, you aren't burning a DVD Video disc... hence you won't get the 'create layer break' option.
  13. Your drive may be having issues with those discs, try some other (better) ones.
  14. Maybe they're some sort of value version. Either way, they're not what you want to be buying.
  15. No, if it doesn't search for them, it'll never find anything! If it's taking too long, you have an issue elsewhere - it should take a second or two. As you can see there, it takes no time at all normally. It searched for and found 8 devices in less than 1 second on my PC.
  16. Write mode has a 'queue' feature for that.
  17. Post the log please - as per the pink box up the top
  18. You purchased junk media. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  19. Neither of those are the correct format for a DVD Video disc, you need to output in DVD Video format - so IFO/BUP/VOB files.
  20. Latest Intel Chipset Device software - v9.4.0.1022... https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3467&DwnldID=23061&keyword=%22chipset%22&lang=eng Latest Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers (3rd one down) - v12.8.0.1016... https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=23060&keyword=%22rapid%22&lang=eng When converting a Mode 2 disc to ISO format (Mode 1), ImgBurn asks the drive to return just 2048 bytes per sector rather than the usual 2352 (so it's a hardware conversion rather than a software one). Maybe a bug in the drives firmware is preventing it from doing that properly but nothing ImgBurn does itself would make your machine freeze. That's something drivers do - or dodgy hardware maybe. ImgBurn simply submits the I/O commands and waits for a response from the Windows API function that handles it.
  21. oops, I forgot to copy + paste the link http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-L633C/files.html
  22. You'd need to use DAEMON Tools or similar to burn that MDS file.
  23. Try the SC01 firmware update. Try burning at 8x Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. If it still fails to produce a working disc, replace your drive with one that works properly.
  24. Now please right click the drive drop down section box and click 'Family Tree'. Close the prompt and then copy + paste everything from the Log window. I can't see a problem with the sizes of the disc (as reported by the drive), but I can only assume the drive is having trouble reading the last few sectors or something and any attempt to do so just makes your machine hang. Freezes like that are at a lower level than ImgBurn - so it's probably driver related.
  25. Why are you trying to burn an Audio CD then? That's what the CUE files are made for. If you want a DVD Audio disc then you'll need to find a bit of authoring software and create one - otherwise, like I said, you'll just have to back the files up 'as-is' on a disc (using Build mode).
