  1. Neither of those are the correct format for a DVD Video disc, you need to output in DVD Video format - so IFO/BUP/VOB files.
  2. Latest Intel Chipset Device software - v9.4.0.1022... https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3467&DwnldID=23061&keyword=%22chipset%22&lang=eng Latest Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers (3rd one down) - v12.8.0.1016... https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=23060&keyword=%22rapid%22&lang=eng When converting a Mode 2 disc to ISO format (Mode 1), ImgBurn asks the drive to return just 2048 bytes per sector rather than the usual 2352 (so it's a hardware conversion rather than a software one). Maybe a bug in the drives firmware is preventing it from doing that properly but nothing ImgBurn does itself would make your machine freeze. That's something drivers do - or dodgy hardware maybe. ImgBurn simply submits the I/O commands and waits for a response from the Windows API function that handles it.
  3. oops, I forgot to copy + paste the link http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-L633C/files.html
  4. You'd need to use DAEMON Tools or similar to burn that MDS file.
  5. Try the SC01 firmware update. Try burning at 8x Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. If it still fails to produce a working disc, replace your drive with one that works properly.
  6. Now please right click the drive drop down section box and click 'Family Tree'. Close the prompt and then copy + paste everything from the Log window. I can't see a problem with the sizes of the disc (as reported by the drive), but I can only assume the drive is having trouble reading the last few sectors or something and any attempt to do so just makes your machine hang. Freezes like that are at a lower level than ImgBurn - so it's probably driver related.
  7. Why are you trying to burn an Audio CD then? That's what the CUE files are made for. If you want a DVD Audio disc then you'll need to find a bit of authoring software and create one - otherwise, like I said, you'll just have to back the files up 'as-is' on a disc (using Build mode).
  8. Then you'll have to just back the files up 'as-is', an audio cd is always 44/16.
  9. You're probably using the box that lets you select folders and not the one that lets you select files. Change the 'Input Mode' to 'Advanced' if it's easier for you.
  10. Do you have DirectShow filters installed that can convert to 44/16?
  11. Go into Read mode and copy + paste all of the disc info from the box on the right please.
  12. It isn't related to burning nrg files.
  13. The speeds come from the drive. If it initialises the disc differently for some reason (which can happen from time to time) then you'll be stuck with whatever it's offering speed wise until you eject and reinsert the disc so it initialises it again.
  14. I'm talking about the destination drive selection drop down box.
  15. Turn off the 'capture graph data' feature in the settings. It seems to trigger a bug in the compiler I use which results in the floating point error crash.
  16. An infinite loop where exactly? This issue doesn't sound related to autoplay so I'm not sure where you're getting that idea from. I'd say it's related to the controller the drive is attached to and the drivers you've got installed for it. Right click the drive selection box when you're in write mode (using win 7 of course) and click 'family tree'. Close the prompt and then copy + paste everything from the log window into a reply.
  17. If you've read the other related threads then you'll know that what you get offered by the opencandy platform as part of imgburn's installation process can vary. If you accept the offers then that's out of my hands. I don't know what's offered to a specific user and play no part in the installation of accepted offers. If the uninstallation process of a given app is really that bad then I'll mention it to opencandy as that goes against their policies.
  18. It isn't, no. The drive's firmware controls that stuff.
  19. Install it into its own folder and then just copy + paste the imgburn exe into the dvdflick one, overwriting the old one that's in there.
  20. OpenCandy's policies state there will always be an opt-out for anything their platform offers you during installation. There should always be an uninstall option in the usual place too, but I know uninstallers rarely reset any search / homepage changes they make. I don't know why, they just don't.
  21. And are you still not getting the MID info? If not, you'll have to wait a week until I'm back from my holidays and can use something other than my phone!
  22. Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc may also help.
  23. It looks like you've got a codec issue on your machine that's preventing things from working as they should do. Try installing one of the many codec packs available for whatever your OS is or finding a tool that can fix codec issues.
  24. Adding a cue to the 'create cue file' window simply adds the file names in the cue file. It makes no attempt to use other info in the cue - it's not a cue editing feature.
  25. Your drive must be doing a bad job of burning the disc at that speed. Try again at 8x. If that also fails, get yourself some better discs.
