  1. It must be something you're doing as I'm not getting that in my cue files when I don't specify any cd-text info.
  2. It always failed like that, you just weren't told about it until the most recent version. The 'effective' layer break is where you want it to be and that's all you need to be concerned with.
  3. You should just select the video_ts folder. The program will take care of the rest. There are DVD video guides in the guides forum if you get stuck.
  4. Next step? That would be to start building the image file or burning to disc... so just click the big 'Build' (or 'Write' ?) button on the left of the screen. You don't *need* to 'Calculate' at all. It's just an 'FYI' stage/feature.
  5. Are you sure it's freezing and not just telling you that 14% of the disc (for whatever's listed as the media) is being used up?
  6. There isn't I'm afraid, no. The best you could do is write a batch file that calls ImgBurn multiple times (waiting for previous instance to finish first) and passing a different iso / drive letter for the source / dest parameters. i.e. imgburn.exe /mode verify /source "image1.iso" /dest d: /start /close imgburn.exe /mode verify /source "image2.iso" /dest e: /start /close imgburn.exe /mode verify /source "image3.iso" /dest f: /start /close imgburn.exe /mode verify /source "image4.iso" /dest g: /start /close
  7. This is just a case of not understanding what you're looking at. It's flagged as 'PUP.Optional.OpenCandy'. PUP is 'potentially unwanted program'. The installer uses the OpenCandy platform (read their FAQ for more info) to make 3rd party product offerings as part of the installation wizard. You're free to decline them if you aren't interested. I guess that's where the 'Optional.OpenCandy' bit comes in.
  8. There's no way it formatted with full certification in 53 seconds! Do you have any other BD-RE you can try? It seems to have an issue with that disc - and even though you said it's a Verbatim one, it doesn't use the same MID that mine do. Yours -> CMCMAG-CN2-000 Mine -> VERBAT-IM0-000
  9. What happens if you click cancel and when exactly are you seeing this message? It doesn't match up with the log you've posted.
  10. If it's saying the disc is not empty then the disc is not empty. When you're burning stuff, ImgBurn only works with new blank discs (or ones it can erase).
  11. Hardware defect management is only enabled when a disc with 'spare areas' has been inserted. It's a drive thing and not something you can change (without formatting the disc with spare areas enabled).
  12. You only need to format the BD-RE discs once, so just ignore the messages. They're more for my benefit than yours anyway. I'd need to see the disc info from the box on the right when you're in Write mode to see if spare areas have been enabled on the media (and you'd want them enabled for a more reliable backup - but it's only more reliable at the time of writing, they have no effect on readability). For reliable backups, you should probably use decent BD-R rather than BD-RE. Make sure you verify your burns too.
  13. ImgBurn makes no attempt to bypass copy protection. It'll normally warn you if you try and create an image of a protected disc using 'Read' mode.
  14. Your drive seems unable to write to those discs (at least at that speed - 2x). Try the other speeds. If they also fail, buy some better discs. If they also fail, try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. If it still doesn't work, get yourself a new drive.
  15. You don't need to change any settings. Either your drive/firmware/media combo works or it doesn't. We've already pointed you to the sticky thread several times, please don't keep asking the same question hoping for a different answer - you won't get it. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  16. OpenCandy isn't something that's 'installed' and you ARE given the option to opt-out of any product offerings that get made by the OC platform during the ImgBurn installation wizard.
  17. That'll create an image but you're copying from one hardware environment and restoring to another. There could also be licensing issues.
  18. The filters required (or at least one version of them) are listed here. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555&do=findComment&comment=91374
  19. Try enabling the 'perform opc before write' option in the settings. If that doesn't work, try putting the 'write type' on 'incremental' in the settings. If everything was working properly, neither of those should be required. Maybe try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc?
  20. If you don't have the actual install disc, you're out of luck.
  21. The default settings work just fine. All you need to do is enable 'force hypertuning' on the drive and burn at 4x.
  22. What are the options (supported write speeds) with your drive/firmware/media combo? 4x would be a good place to start.
  23. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  24. It'll be in the debug log if you enable debug mode and then search for devices again... otherwise, no, it isn't.
  25. It seems weird you'd get '01 42' from both drives where it should be '44 49'. Can I assume you've tried it in safe mode too in order to see if you get the same response? Are the drives connected to Intel controllers or something else?
