You're probably using the box that lets you select folders and not the one that lets you select files. Change the 'Input Mode' to 'Advanced' if it's easier for you.

Do you have DirectShow filters installed that can convert to 44/16?

The speeds come from the drive. If it initialises the disc differently for some reason (which can happen from time to time) then you'll be stuck with whatever it's offering speed wise until you eject and reinsert the disc so it initialises it again.

An infinite loop where exactly? This issue doesn't sound related to autoplay so I'm not sure where you're getting that idea from. I'd say it's related to the controller the drive is attached to and the drivers you've got installed for it. Right click the drive selection box when you're in write mode (using win 7 of course) and click 'family tree'. Close the prompt and then copy + paste everything from the log window into a reply.

If you've read the other related threads then you'll know that what you get offered by the opencandy platform as part of imgburn's installation process can vary. If you accept the offers then that's out of my hands. I don't know what's offered to a specific user and play no part in the installation of accepted offers. If the uninstallation process of a given app is really that bad then I'll mention it to opencandy as that goes against their policies.

Install it into its own folder and then just copy + paste the imgburn exe into the dvdflick one, overwriting the old one that's in there.

OpenCandy's policies state there will always be an opt-out for anything their platform offers you during installation. There should always be an uninstall option in the usual place too, but I know uninstallers rarely reset any search / homepage changes they make. I don't know why, they just don't.

It looks like you've got a codec issue on your machine that's preventing things from working as they should do. Try installing one of the many codec packs available for whatever your OS is or finding a tool that can fix codec issues.

Adding a cue to the 'create cue file' window simply adds the file names in the cue file. It makes no attempt to use other info in the cue - it's not a cue editing feature.

Your drive must be doing a bad job of burning the disc at that speed. Try again at 8x. If that also fails, get yourself some better discs.

Have you deactivated AnyDVD? It could be rewriting the drives response to that command?

There is no 'express' option in imgburn's installation process. If that's what you saw then it was for an opencandy product offering.

Pay more attention when you install programs. You had the chance to opt out of installing whatever the opencandy platform offered you during the installation of ImgBurn, you just missed it.

The command used to obtain that info must be failing for some reason. Go into write mode without a disc in the drive, press F8 to enable debug mode and then insert your disc. Save the contents of the log window via the File menu and upload it so I can take a look.

Are you sure it's hanging and you aren't just looking at the disc % used / capacity bar?

That log doesn't contain any actual 'operation' info from 2.5.8.0. The log file is only updated when you shut the app down. If it's still running, just copy + paste everything from the log window.

If you have an ISO (an image file), you'd use the top left option - 'Write image file to disc'.
