  1. Take a look in device manager and see if the drive is listed in there.
  2. Buy a new drive or get the MKM-001-00 discs. Your drive is too old to support those MKM-003-00 ones properly.
  3. Ah so the AVG thing will cure it too... that's nice to know. I still like DrWeb CureIt though
  4. Glad to hear it. Now watch what you download / install on your machine!
  5. Update ImgBurn and try again. Oh and it's good practice to never ask for help with old versions of programs. Update, see if it still happens AND THEN report your problem.
  6. LameXP works fine too. http://mulder.dummwiedeutsch.de/home/?page=projects#lamexp
  7. Turn your caps lock off. What exactly are you doing? Trying to read an original disc in ImgBurn? That'll never work. If you're burning , post a log - i.e. read the pink bit at the top of this forum!!!
  8. Just a simple mistake on mmalves part (mixed up with another topic?), Verbatims are the ones to buy.
  9. ImgBurn won't/can't read copy protected discs.
  10. It burnt and verified fine so I can only assume it's some issue between your ps2, the media and the disc content... none of which are anything to do with ImgBurn.
  11. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q...mp;aq=f&oq=
  12. Try burning slower... like at 8x or 12x.
  13. If you post a log that highlights your 'burning issues', maybe we can help?
  14. Remove: Upper Class Filter: SiRemFil Lower Class Filter: cdrblock Lower Class Filter: clbstor Lower Class Filter: cdrbsdrv You could probably ditch pxhelp20 too. If anything needs it, just reinstall that app (latest version) so you get the most recent version of it. Are you SP2 or SP3 of XP? It looks like SP2. Is there a specific reason for this?
  15. I have no problem burning to a firewire drive. Besides, the interface a drive uses to connect to the PC makes no difference to ImgBurn. It simply doesn't work at a level where that matters.
  16. Ah ok, I see what you mean now. It's not something I'd do though (sorry!)... eventually I'll add a real 'Copy' mode.
  17. I assume you wait for it to finish scanning and then either tell it to remove them or it will have done so along the way. So basically, it should be pretty obvious once it gets to the end.
  18. It's safe to use any amount you want to... so long as the OS doesn't error out when ImgBurn tries to allocate it!
  19. You've got a virus. Clear it off with this (it's free): http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/ Then update ImgBurn and update to Vista SP1 too.
  20. Not really, no. What's the point if no drives support it?!
  21. Are you sure the resulting image was only 90mb? What does the calculated size come out to? There's a lot of slack space involved with burning little files. ie. 2049 bytes of file data is 2 sectors (4096 bytes). 90 meg of pure image file data would of course fit in a 128 meg buffer.
  22. You can put Vista SP1 on when you're bored. Hell, SP2 will be out any day now too.
  23. Test mode doesn't work with DVD+ media and you can only Verify if you actually burn something.
