  1. CD-DA is 44khz 16bit Stereo, there's no 'long play' version of it.
  2. What's wrong with the 'Mode' menu? 2 clicks instead of 1? I'm sure you'll cope! When they're all burnt it says so in the queue window. You can clear them yourself by clicking the recycle bin button or using one of the many option on the context menu when you right click the big white box.
  3. The guy that sings: "I like big butts and I can not lie..."
  4. This is what you need to remove it. http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/
  5. afaik, it's just nu-tech drives that do it (and any other ancient ones that use the same chipset).
  6. It's basically saying your drive isn't reading the disc properly. That's either because InCD is messing up the disc or it's manipulating the info as it's transferred from the drive to ImgBurn. I really need to see all the disc info from the panel on the right next time it happens.
  7. The & is being translated into an accelerator character. Consider it fixed.
  8. ok, once you've loaded the flac into graphedit, what filters are loaded in automatically? Get me a screenshot please.
  9. No it didn't. Oh and to correct myself, the 'Content Type' field displayed in the log/info box is based on content AND file system selection.
  10. ImgBurn is in the process of having an 'Advanced' input mode (the existing one being 'Basic') added to it's 'Build' mode... this will do the things you require. Of course that doesn't help you right now but it's nice to know anyway
  11. You might just have to do it directly in the registry.
  12. Have you tried slowing the burn down to 8x or 12x? Have you tried some Verbatim DVD+R discs? Update the firmware on your drive. Have you tried it with the ICH10 controller in IDE mode rather than AHCI? Typically, the 'Invalid Address for Write' error follows something else (i.e. it normally pops up when the program is actually retrying something).... so perhaps that first error (i.e. 'Write Error') is being swallowed up by another program / filter drive or something.
  13. That's just how they work.
  14. Just pick the 2nd green one.
  15. It's in the DVD Flick folder.
  16. Random reads/writes to the drive will kill the sequential transfer rate that ImgBurn relies upon when burning. So yeah, make sure the PC isn't doing anything silly like doing a full virus scan, defragging, indexing etc. Of course when it's not burning, it's a good idea to run a full defrag on the drive - oh and don't use the standard windows one, it's awful. If you need a freebie, use defraggler.
  17. The log doesn't show anything to help us. What problem do you think you're having? If you get an error message, what does it say? If you can't burn (the button isn't enabled), what does it say in the status bar?
  18. I would be, yes. The program is unable to get any sort of decent transfer rate from your hard drive... and it's so bad that it can't even sustain an 8x burn. Is the hard drive (C:\) being used by other programs whilst you're burning? If so, shut them down.
  19. Indeed, it's just a name based on content. If you tell the program not to change the file system/options then it won't.
  20. Well I learnt something new today, I wasn't aware the collection of 'books' were referred to as the 'rainbow books'.
  21. hehe glad to hear it.
  22. Update ImgBurn Try a different supported speed. Try cleaning the drive. The errors mean you've got a few suspect sectors on the disc that your burner can't read. That doesn't mean a different drive won't be able to read it perfectly fine. Of course it could go the other way and a different drive might have even more trouble reading it.
  23. Hence the "You can't" answer I posted earlier!
  24. I said Task Manager, not Control Panel. Just right click the task bar (where the application buttons get put) and you'll see it on the context menu. That or press CTRL+SHIFT+ESCAPE. Are you using a decent 80 wire cable for the drive? Is the drive set on 'Master' via the jumpers on the back? Is the drive on the same cable as anything else?
  25. You can't.
