-
start by turning up the volume ,buy speakers , check to see if the mute button has been pushed ,turn on the player ,stop watching silent films ,actually put a cd/dvd in the player without a log I'm only guessing

Sony is definetly on the slide they are getting ready for big layoffs in their urban music division .Crap discs, outsourced optical drives then joining up with NEC to build new drives ( I have a DRU510A that was /is a great drive original Sony),Ps3 nightmares ,the batterys that were catching fire in the Dell laptops were made by Sony their share of that mess was around $400 million, spyware in their cd's,suing everyone around them they're a runaway train with no one at the wheel stay tuned ,they're so large that it will take time to completely screw up the company

UPS puts a lot of pressure on the drivers to make deliveries they're always up their asses to do more and more

the dvd's not playing on your dvd player is more than likely crap media we only recommend Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden discs You will be able to burn with IMGburn but will not be able to re author anything ,namely remove things from the dvd files If you can post a log from IMGburn (copy and paste ) that would really help or put a blank disc in the burner and c&p the info from the windoew that will help also ,again the playability is surely related to the quality of media you're using

trouble setting up ImgBurn to take place of DVD Decrypter
polopony replied to lilcarmel's topic in ImgBurn Support
for legal reasons you can't get any help with decrypter sorry it has to be this way For IMGburn you create an ISO and burn its a burning software nothing else it will not replace decrypter You can use the build mode to create an ISO that IMGburn will burn download IMGburn save it then open it and install it open IMGburn browse (please select a file ) for an ISO select it and burn it or use build mode put your files in a video ts folder and IMGburn will create an iso and burn it "When I get to the part that I am suppose to copy ImgBurn.exe and DVD Decrypter.exe, they are not in the folders. " just download IB and install it there will be a shortcut on the desktop to open the software -
you dont mention what media you're using we only recommend Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs. Much testing by the Beta Members has shown that quality drops off after 12x burns, its supported by the scans which can be seen at the Media and Drives forum .Personally I burn everything at 6X When you post for support please include a log of a burn it has all the info we need to see , honestly you shouldn't get caught up in the numbers they are marketing stuff and most of the time have nothing to do with real world results PS you dont have a problem all's well

I dont care much for UPS I had a couple of instances where the tracking # showed it was at the station to be delivered in fact out on a truck for delivery but didn't come, on inquiry I got a pretty snotty "we gaurantee ground within 5 days we still have a day or 2 to deliver" ,it was on the f'n truck. The irony of this was I was a superintendant of a couple of buildings with about 100 units and took and signed for all their deliveries.I put a stop to accepting any packages from them and let the drivers come back for re delivery and let the tenants take it out on UPS .Pay backs a bitch

wow thats a great price Canadian too .Will take a look down here tomorrow I'm down to my last 450 blanks

some files/sub folders missing on new build/write cd
polopony replied to cdmaker's topic in ImgBurn Support
You are correct no audio cd's Nero wont interfere with IMGburn The CD is "12x10x32x". thats a pretty old cd writer maybe older that the MCC specs drives go by now audio cd I believe can be made with Windows Media Player ,WinAmp,Nero -
I've gone around with companies shipping things and no tracking # what I found is once UPS picks it up its shipped as far as the company knows it then has to gett into the UPS system where they issue a # notify the company and then you get your notice a round about way of doing things .I expected the # to be issued when they pick it up and do paperwork, scan it, etc etc

disturbing to see the Verb duds a few posters on the forum are having problems with Verbs, lets hope that they aren't cutting back on quality or possibly some seconds made their way into the market without Verbatims knowledge

its never the speed but the sudden stop that gets you

"Kind of hard to drag an entire studio to a Grateful Dead concert. And Jerry & the Boys, between kisses from Harry the Horse, might've noticed an entire recording truck parked outside the concert venue." the Dead never had a problem with people bringing recorders to their shows and recording the music there is a huge Library of Dead shows out there, people exchange them all the time .I dont know of any other band that has that attitude about recording the shows, and they put on great shows none of the 1 1/2 hours 2 encores and goodnight R.I.P. Jerry.

Navteq Disc backup burn is not identical????
polopony replied to ranger3484's topic in ImgBurn Support
knew Id seen another post on this subject ,typed navigation in the search function and a post by MUD came up -
Theres other posts in the forum about making a copy of a navigation disc and that poster didn't have any luck either .I dont think its the media or your hardware at fault but how the NAV disc is made and the protection on it that prevents it from working .I think we all thought that your problem was with video files based disc not a NAV one.I'll see if I can find it through the search function at the top of the page what car and model is the NAV for there are different ones Google NAVteq there are many articles on this particular dvd and I'm sure it'll help

TSSTcorp is in fact the Samsung corporation so it makes sense that the Samsung tab will work (there are drives that although they say one thing, Sony for example its made by Lite On and the LO tab applies ) Look at LUKs post he says that Samsung sucks at bitsetting
