Maybe your antivirus/security prog is blocking you.

Is it what it says. Your hard drive has a lot of activity and can't feed the drive with the amount of data at the speed your drive burns the disc. Quit havy tasks on your system while burning. Also it could be related to bad/outdated/messed up drivers. Look for updating the chipset/storage drivers. This site may help http://www.ma-config.com/ A log would give us some more clues. Read the pink bar at the top.

Make sure you include a copy of the program's log in your post. No log = That is written at the top in the pink box. Do as it say.

Disable Test Mode. Try a higher speed.

Your drive is old and don't support very well the new media, see the only supported write speed is 4x when the media is 16x rated. Do yourself (and your computer) a favor and buy a new drive, they are so cheap this days. You are using an outdated version of ImgBurn, btw.

Update firmware for your drive to 2.00, currently you have 1.03 installed and try again. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22LP20/files.html If something happens again, post the whole log of that session with the trouble.

Try again after installing the latest firmware 1.28 on your drive, currently you have 1.24. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/DVR-212/files.html Use higher quality media such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden or at least other discs that don't use CMC dye. Use the current version of Imgburn. Replace the executable from DVDFlick\imgburn with the newer on from Imgburn in Program Files. Or do it in two steps, first the encoding than the burn with the current version.

The firmware from your drive don't recognize that disc and isn't able to calibrate the laser in order to burn it. This is ImgBurn support forum. We can only help with ImgBurn related problem. You say that you cancel the burn? What it says in status bar when you cancel? Let it finalize properly. Post a log.

Don't rely only on Microsoft drivers. They are often outdated in regard to the maufacturer drivers.

You can go for Optiarc or Lite-On. You could look at MyCE forum for drive reviews and recommendation from experienced users.

First try to clean the drive lens with a cleaning disc, than try all available speeds. The media you use is 8x rated. You could try the drive in another computer to rule out the system. If all fails, buy yourself a new drive.

How did you obtained the iso in the first place? What converter program did you used? Try DVDFlick or DVDStyler.

Along with the two .vob files is there another files (.ifo and .bup)? In the iso you should have a folder VIDEO_TS with .ifo .bup .vob files in it.
