  1. Read the pink box above and post a log.
  2. Hope you managed to replace the .exe in the end. Here is the latest firmware for your NEC drive 1.0C, for now you have 1.0A installed http://www.firmwarehq.com/NEC/ND-1300A/files.html
  3. You are using the old version of ImgBurn that comes with DVDFlick. Copy and replace imgburn.exe from Program Files\DVD Flick\imgburn with the new version from Program Files\ImgBurn. Download and install the current version if you didn't already. Update the firmware for your burner to latest 1.04, currenly you are using 1.01 http://www.firmwarehq.com/Optiarc/AD-7240S/files.html
  4. One thread per problem is enough. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=17563
  5. Multisession is not supported in ImgBurn, sorry. If you realy need it find other software that have support for that. And please don't make a new thread in Suggestions, there are a lot by now.
  6. It's the first Pinned topic in this section that adresses this issue http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=7860
  7. Are you using CD or DVD? Do you have more than one DVD burner? Post the log. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632 Make sure you set the Target size to DVD (4,3 GB) in DVD Flick/Project settings/General

  9. ImgBurn is a burning tool. It will happyly burn whatever you throw to him but will not modify the files. You need an authoring program to take out a portion of the video. You can use DVD Shrink in Re-author mode. The black bars at top and bottom of the video is normal to compensate if the clips don't have standard resolution If the original resolution of the video is not 720x576 PAL or 720x480 NTSC and the bars won't be added than the picture would look elongated on vertical.
  10. First you need to split the large file into smaller files ~80 minutes in order to fit to one Audio CD. You can use mp3split or similar program. Than use the guide from here http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555
  11. If you burned that type of discs in that drive, try a lens cleaner. Try what spinningwheel recommends. If all fails buy a new drive.
  12. Virtual CloneDrive is FREE.
  13. No. ImgBurn is not converter. It burns discs.
  14. I thought 24x was the maximum write speed for DVD-R. How can it be 48x? Anyway, you won't find a burner that can burn faster than 24X. Are you sure you looked at DVD-R and not CD-R? There is a later firmware TL03 for your drive here http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22LS50/files.html
  15. If the disc in the end comes out without problems (burn and verify OK) there is no problem having sometimes a buffer kick in. If you have a lot than might be a system problem. Sometimes even the antivirus can interfere to scan the files or having a scheduled task temprary slowing down hard drive activity. Finaly you can play with the buffer size that's why it's available in settings. On your amount of RAM should be no problem. As long as the program permits you to modify the buffer size there will no be problems. That's kinda logic, isn't it?
  16. Seems your drive don't support well that media. Read the pink bit above and post a log.
  17. A new firmware 1.05 is out for your drive http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/BDR-206/files.html Maybe you want to try a lower speed since your hard drive is having trouble feeding the drive with data or stop havy task programs. Make sure you have the latest chipset/storage drivers installed. This site might help. http://www.ma-config.com/
  18. I'm still not familiar with this layer brake thing. I would choose the fourth green star with the least padding (3). Someone who knows better will tell if I am right or not. I just exercise for the time when I will use this.
  19. Just looked at your hardware and you don't seem to be a tight-fisted hand one. Did you considered runing Windows 7 on that computer? Windows XP is old now and just cripples that computer.
  20. Just avoid the slimline/laptop external burners, that are crappy too. Go for a normal size one.
  21. You got lucky. If you search the forum you'll find that are a lot of folks having problem burning DL's on laptop/slimline burners even if they use Verbatim quality discs. If your laptop drive can't recognize even original pressed discs, it most probably got toasted. If you don't want to put a new drive in the old computer buy it instead and mount it in an external enclosure (USB 2.0 or eSATA) to use it with your laptop.
  22. Note that is a W (worning) not E (error). The worning it says exactly what's the problem. Your hard drive can't feed the data as quick as the drive burns the disc so the buffer kicks in and wait for recover. This is mostly drivers related. You can check your firmware installed. Open ImgBurn than switch to any mode where you have access to the drive, select it from the dropdown box than rightclick on it. On the context menu you'll find at the bottom Capabilities, click on it, it will show you the full version if you have 1.00 or 1.00-A9 (1.00-09) Note that when you run the firmware updater it will show you both the old and the new firmware as being 1.00 Just make the update anyway and check back after reboot it will show 1.00-A9
  23. The Lite-On has a more recent firmware (5L08) update than yours installed (5L03) http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHBS212%2B2/files.html Also rightclick on LG drive and select Check for firmware updates... or Capabilities to show the full firmware version. Here is the latest firmware for LG (note the -A9) http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/WH10LS30/files.html Try this site http://www.ma-config.com/ to see if it finds more recent drivers than you currently have installed.
  24. The buffer kick in is a worning not an error. The disc should be fine. Make sure that you have installed the latest firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/WH10LS30/files.html You can find exactly wich version you have by clicking on drive and select Check for firmware updates... or Capabilities. Make sure also you have the latest chipset/storage drivers installed. This site might help you. http://www.ma-config.com/
  25. db, I heard there is BD Rebuilder out there...
