  1. What speed they burned when they worked? Maybe a clean disc will help. Maybe it's time to replace it with a new one.
  2. What actualy files are on that burned disc? Also, you can mount the iso with Virtual CloneDrive to see what is inside. http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html
  3. You are using 8x rated media MKM-003-00 and the only speed available is 2.4x Your drive is kinda old now and can't deal with the new dye. You have to try with 2.4x rated media MKM-001-00
  4. 6 full movies on a DVD Video? That's not a good looking picture. For the disc to play on a regular DVD Player it has to be in DVD Video format standard. Video_TS folder with .ifo, .bup, .vob files in it. Do you have such a folder after you use your program DeVeDe? The rule goes 1 movie (~120 min) = 1 disc. You can find old logs in Help menu of ImgBurn. Maybe you want to try DVD Flick, to see how it goes.
  5. Oh, my bad, I give you the link to this thread instead of the link to firmware. Here it is the good one, you want DL13. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-4167B/files.html Your version of ImgBurn is outdated. Look in my signature for the current version.
  6. 1x isn't an option here Try with the newer firmware http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=16103 Try to find 2.4x media MKM-001
  7. ImgBurn always finalize all discs, regardless.
  8. Google for DVD audio extract.
  9. Not that the program is old is causing problems (in your case). Just we can't offer support to all released versions so is recommended to update it. Follow what is recommended in the link I gave you and come back after you tried everything from there to tell us if it work or not.
  10. Yes. Make it how you want it and where you think it's better. I was thinking it as "Always start with (x) copies" and a check box. (x) could be 1, any number or last used selected from a dropdown box. But as long as it will always start with 1 copy after the program was closed, I'm happy with that. Thank you!
  11. I think not, cause than you have to repeat that setting in Build mod tab too. It's better to have one setting for the device so that it looks over both modes. I counted on that cause you select the numbers of copies on Device tab when you use Build mode but I don't mind it as long as it will be somewhere. I think LIGHTNING UK! will decide where it belongs that setting if he want to implement it. Anyway, thanks for supporting Cynthia!
  12. Maybe you want to put that setting here where there is a little room waiting for it. I will be happy with that.
  13. I didn't know it was suggested before. Sorry, but I don't use Facebook. I don't want to push but maybe a poll will help since the suggestion have reason and is for anyone benefit.
  14. Try limit the speed to 8x, probably the best speed for DVD burn
  15. In general I burn one copy either in build or write mode. Sometimes burn more than one. When you open up for the first time the program the number of copies is set to 1. You can change it for more if you need. After you close the program and start it again when you need it the number of copies are still the last used. I think that is no need to remember that and the default number of copies should always reset to 1 copy after close the program. Will you make it to behave like that? Thank you!
  16. I rather think that your drive/firmware/media combination gives you that result. The player might support both formats. What player (maker/model) you have? Give us a full log with write and verify not a cut of log. There are more useful information that you left out thinking that isn't important. Update your drive firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-H653L/files.html Use some decent media not that CMC, that is considered the bottom of the barrel.
  17. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 You are using an outdated version of ImgBurn. Look in my signature for the current vesrion.
  18. Try with 1.06 firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-H55N/files.html Try with all supported speeds not just 2.4x if are available.
  19. Read and follow this http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6376
  20. You are doing it all wrong. ImgBurn will do only the burn part. It will not convert your file to a DVD Video. DVD Flick is doing it in one step and if it is all set correct (not changed settings) it will be burned to disc at finish. (with an older version of ImgBurn that resides in his installed directory) Now if you want to do it in two steps (that's how I recommend because you can check what will be burned to disc) you have to untick Burn to disc in DVD Flick Project Settings Use DVD Flick to make the VIDEO_TS folder with .ifo, .bup, .vob files in it. Then use ImgBurn to burn it to disc using Build mode. If you let DVD Flick to make the .iso than you have to use Write mode in ImgBurn not Build mode. What format is the original file and how log it runs, as I see in the log the file is quite small. And finaly, your LG drive have a new firmware available. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-4081B/files.html
  21. Due to issues, the developer had to ditch it, but the burn part of it was kept and developed further in today's ImgBurn.
  22. You changed the disc with other brand (eg. SONY, TDK, VERBATIM) or with another blank from that same spindle? Try to find what LIGHTNING UK! suggested.
  23. You have to be carefull at jumper settings. Some older hard drives have two jumpers to tell them there is one slave present. You have to remove the second jumper and let just the master or single. On newer WD no jumper = master or single. Look on the schema. Maybe you want to try with a new 80 pin data cable.
  24. Try a lower speed other than MAX. Try cleaning the lens. Try with different brand of discs. Unless you not have a valid reason you should update Vista to SP2
  25. You have SB02, SB03 is the latest, get it from here http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-S222L/files.html What about normal discs not RW? It gives errors too? Try a new 80 pins data cable. Try updating chipset/storage drivers.
