  2. That was a damaged disc in a previous attempt. Try a new blank one from the spindle.
  3. Try again with the new firmware D500 http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-H653A/files.html 2.4x isn't an option here, try the others 6x and 8x speed too. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. Update ImgBurn to current version. See my signature. Update Vista to SP2, unless you have a valid point to stuck on. Try with Verbatim media too.
  4. Clean the drive with a lens cleaning disc. Try with the other speeds supported (4x, 6x)
  5. Your drive don't recognize corectly the disc. Try cleaning your drive with a lens cleaning disc. What brand of discs you use? Try with other brand of discs. Taiyo Yuden media is highly recommended.
  6. What disc format you choose in iTunes to burn the disc? Is it MP3 CD or Audio CD? If it is Audio CD, than you need to follow this Guide http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555

  9. Windows 7 don't let you save to C: it will be saved in C:\Users\YOUR_USER folder instead. I think it worned you about that and you overlooked it.
  10. Can you see/find the image you saved in Windows Explorer? Just drag it over ImgBurn while you are in Write mode.
  11. See if that helps you http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4643
  12. MKM-003-00 is 8x rated media after all so it's supposed to do the best job at that speed not a lower one. I would waste one more disc to try at 8x.
  13. Apparently SL01 is the current firmware for your HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H42L, there is no other latest.
  14. Yes I'm talking about motherboard chipset. Take a look on manufacturer site or if you know what chipset is on your motherboard search for the latest for your OS. This site may come handy http://www.ma-config.com/
  15. Did you tryed as LIGHTNING UK! sugested with the other supported speeds - 6x and 8x? Do you have the latest chipset drivers installed?
  16. You used a CD but you need a DVD.
  17. It can't be done because there is no active drive in that mode. That will complicate things as poping up a dialog box to select a drive, I think...
  18. May your wishes all come true!
  19. Shutdown completly the computer, wait a cuple of minutes than fire up again, can you eject now?
  20. We need a full one with burn and verify.
  21. Without providing a log we can't say much about your problem. Most of the time the media is to blame. Read this. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000

  23. I don't use DeVeDe so I can't help with settings. I was asking about file format not the content of film. If on the final DVD you have Audio_TS and Video_TS folder and a bunch of .ifo, .bup, .vob files in it, than DeVeDe has done his job. At maximum bitrate/video quality (~9000 kbps) of DVD Video standard you can put just a little over 1 hour of movie on a DVD5. Average standard on a DVD5 is 120 min (~5000 kbps). The more you add in legth the bitrate/video quality will lower to fit on a DVD5. You should stick to the standard (~120 min/DVD5) but if you are going to use a really low bitrate (~3-4 hours/DVD5) then you should consider making your video half D1 (352x576/480) it will look much better.
  24. A clean disc is a disc with a litle brush attached on it, that you put in the drive and follow the instructions. It cleans the lens of the drive. I never meant that you clean the discs from the spindle. I should have said lens cleaning disc. My bad.
  25. I don't know what setting you used in DeVeDe to give you that size. How long is the running time of that .flv? DVD Flick will tend to use max quality to fill the disc, so if it have a video ~23 min converted to DVD Video @ 8500kbps will give you ~1.5GB. You did not answerd my question. What actualy files are on the burned disc or in that .iso?
