ImgBurn does not break any copy protection. Whether it's the Dark Knight or just plain old home photos and word documents, ImgBurn simply burns bits and bytes. Regards

2009 or 2010 maybe No taster - betas are not released publicly, and quite frankly, as LUK said, it doesn't look or feel much different right now. Regards
-
Sorry bout that.
-
A search would have revealed dozens of threads on this, including answers from LUK! Regards

Yes, it's just M$oft. Mine says CD Drive when nothing is in it, too. Don't sweat it. Regards

Actually, from what I read, it isn't in Holland for personal use (the price of blank media is high to cover the assumed loss of profits from the copyright - but with internet ordering from other countries, I expect Dutch residents can get round this). Regards
-
Short answer, YES!!! TDK are usually higher inferior media. Regards

The birthday that keeps on going Regards

Well it all depends on the type of stuff on the movie (if it's just grandma sitting round patting the dog or if its full of action like kids running around at top pace amongst the trees) and the number of frames (ie the time) of your video. As I said, most cams record at absurdly high bitrates for home movies (maybe 6-7000 kpbs constant). You can generally get 2.5 to 3 hours into a DVD5, no problems (subject to it being regular stuff like grandma and puppies). Especially if you re-encode (as opposed to transcode), the quality loss might not be very noticeable at all. You should try it on one or 2 vids and make a decision then. Either way, good luck. Regards
-
Or shrink your movies with any popular transcoder. Pretty much all home movies have excess bitrate that can be shrunk really easily. Regards
-
Strange that - as the conversion from raw AVI to MPEG2 should (theoretically) lose quality. The ISO is irrelevant - it's just a container. Regards
-
Not automatically, but check out the Advanced Options in the Build Mode settings (Tools --> Settings --> Build). Regards
-
Run the project through any decent transcoder (no compression) like DVD Shrink or DVD2One or anything really with the preference to split the output files into 1Gb chunks. Then drag the newly created folder onto the Drop Zone, pop in your DL disk and burn. Regards
-
The boss has said he will consider this when build mode is overhauled. Regards
-
@cynthia Eh? Regards
-
A surefire solution is to buy the disk. It's pretty much guaranteed to play in your players (standalones and software). Regards
-
Why bother? Just put a copied disc in with whatever media is on it (audio, video whatever) and open it in your favourite software media player. No need to extract from an archive (or make one in the first place), create a virtual drive, etc etc. There are a plethora of media players out there and some even perform pretty well. No. You are inventing complexity, where none needs to be. Regards
-
Not gunna work if the disc is full or if you actually want your DVD/CD to play on a player! Instead, just copy the disk and use ImgBurn in portable mode (if you don't wanna install it on another PC). Regards

@cynthia - according to MG, Glary is OK for Vista (but not 64 bit versions). http://majorgeeks.com/Glary_Utilities_d5870.html Regards
-
For registry cleaning, I also like: - Glary Utilities (free) - Registry Mechanic (commercial) - jv16 Power Tools (commercial, but an old freeware edition exists which doesn't look as snazzy but does the trick) but you need to know how to drive them (or be scrupulous in making registry backups) Eraser is great for permanetly getting rid of files. There are many defraggers out there - Diskeeper (payware) is perhaps the most popular, though there are many others which perhaps are as good or better. And for undeletes, try Recuver (freeware).
