And the worst is this stuff. Do take mmalves's advice and get the media he recommended. Regards
-
Really great to see you again Nic. Sorry to see the poms win all those gold medals though mate! Regards

Interesting first post and welcome to our forum. I know it isn't always intuitive what ImgBurn can do - there are several detailed guides in the guides forum, accessible from the help menu, including 2 extremely detailed guide on the settings and the functions. Since there is no context sensitive help file (maybe someone can write one, if they are so inclined), these guides should serve as our users' first port of call. And there is an erase RW function built in - see the Tools - Drive - Erase Disc menu. Regards

Why not just drag them to the Drop zone - that is what it is for? But your other suggestion about examples of what each mode does has merit. See what the boss says. Regards

Drag & Drop when running ImgBurn as Administrator

All these VISTA "features" makes me certain that Bill (or his trust fund) won't be getting any more of my money soon. Do you think he'll be concerned about that? Regards -
Well done! You should bookmark post 34 - it is probably why things went awry. Regards

I really like this idea. Thanks to our multi-lingual member for a great suggestion! Regards -
I'll see your falling off a log and raise you a Taking candy from a baby. Regards

donta I think he already has the music as MP3s ("how do I create an mp3 cd from my blues mp3 albums "). He just needs to burn them. It might be that his burn is bad or on crappy media etc. Regards
-
Then use "seamless layer break". Presto - no hang. Or use a different position where the scene is not broken like that - that's what the previewer is for. More than likely, you'll see the existing LB anyway, as it will be marked SPLIP = no. Plus you can refer to your ini file to see where the LB is anyway. Regards
-
Post a log please. You should just be able to drag and drop the various MP3s onto the drop zone in build mode and click burn. Regards
-
I think this means the selections in the options tab are incorrect where ImgBurn senses it's a DVD Video (eg Preserve Full Pathnames might be ticked) Regards
-
Why not rip in file mode with DVDFab and use build mode in ImgBurn. Really, I would expect Fab to be able to build a simple ISO. And your pic isn't showing. Use www.imageshack.us instead. Or just attach your pic here. Regards
-
DVD players have buffering too - lots of it in fact, which is why seamless layer break works. Regards

The thought crossed my mind and it isn't Tim Allen. Regards

Drag & Drop when running ImgBurn as Administrator

No, the drop zone is the semi transparent thingy. Regards -
You used low quality media and got what you paid for. Only use Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. Regards
-
Just for info, can you tell us the exact entry that is produced please? Regards

Once every five years, he visits various dens of iniquity. Regards

Haven't tried this but you could open 12 instances of ImgBurn and set each to a different burner. Reckon you'd run into "crunches" with your data though. Regards
-
Then your project is mastered incorrectly. Do you get a message about where you should set your layer break? Follow the guide on splitting cells in our guides section. And do yourself a favour - change from those Ritek discs to Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. What you have now is a waste of money. Regards

Best method to burn BDMV folders to BD-R or BD-RE
blutach replied to Sthomp001's topic in ImgBurn Support
ImgBurn is not "media sensitive". If your media is OK and your drive likes it, then ImgBurn will burn it. UDF 2.5 is the right setting. Regards -
Here's your problem - ultra cheap media that your burner can't verify what it just wrote. Get some Taiyo Yudens or Verbatims. And drop your write speed - 8x on that media MIGHT give you a semi-decent burn. Update your ImgBurn - it's free. We are now on 2.4.2.0 Check out if there is a later firmware for that drive - I suspect there is. And I bet VLC won't play that movie about 80% of the way in. The drive can't read the disc! Regards

Tell that to the people over at PC World, who are also morons, I guess, but not as big a moron as you, because they awarded it Tool of the Month this month. @Guzeppi - right on! Regards
