I guess poor pain man's political crap didn't really get our attention. Perhaps as the yanks' election hots up, we'll be more inclined to comment. Regards

Poor hamleth has gone to all this toil and trouble (I know - that's Macbeth, already) and got no advice. Convert to NTSC with a program called SUPER (pick frame rate of 24 fps - you'll need to rip the DVD to hard drive first). Wherefore art thou SUPER? (use the download mirror) Regards

FWIW - the wiki on AVC HD shows no certificate folder in the structure. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD#Overview Regards

Hey donta. You could be an actor with those rugged good looks mate. Regards

Go to the settings and turn off Prefer properly formatted RW (on the Write tab), if you don't want this feature. In fact, ImgBurn will only format and RW if the formatted: field is marked "no". Regards

Now, I HAVE seen it all. zweistein, you've lost whatever marbles God gave you. Your suggestion would certainly spell the end of ImgBurn (fumbles for twit emoticon). Regards

Oy Vey! Regards

Look at DVD Flick or SUPER. Regards

Then either your drive has had it or there is something funny going on with that JMicron controller. Is it connected via that controller? In any event, switch to Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim blanks. Regards

Read pink bit at top. Regards

1. Update 2. If it can't write at all, you have either a batch of dodgy dics (unlikely) or a drive that can't write to those discs (look for a firmware update) or the drive is fcucked. You could try cleaning it, but new drives are cheap these days. Regards

DVD Remake Pro can do this keeping both menus. Or DVD Shrink in re-author mode (no menus). Regards
-
Yes, it will make an ISO. Just choose Build mode and output to file. See the guides. However, it does not "shrink" DVD9's to DVD5's. There are lots of solutions - DVD Rebuilder (freeware edition) is the best. Regards

How about posting a burn log please? Regards

There's lots of guides for ripping xbox360 games on the net - google is your friend. Regards

Burned image file that did not play in DVD Player
blutach replied to hmntr's topic in ImgBurn Support
No need - ImgBurn will do this for you (silently, if you have ticked the Don't Prompt VIDEO_TS Content in build mode settings). You can also burn directly to disc. You need to post a log, for us to give further help. See the help menu. Also, read the guide on how to use build mode. Regards -
Burning DVD video changes MD5 hash of VIDEO_TS.BUP and VIDEO_TS.IFO
blutach replied to Chris123's topic in ImgBurn Support
If padding is applied (32k sectors on), then the various sector references in the VMG_PTT_SRPT and VTS_MAT tables are altered. This is how the DVD actually reads the disc - by examining these sector references. Oh, and even if you haven't used padding, the files can be moved if you are doing a DL disc, where the LB cell needs to end on a sector that is a multiple of 16. Just the rules of DL burning. Please upgrade to the latest version - it's free. Regards -

Pitch. No serviceable parts. I got a Samsung 203B earlier this year and it is fantastic. Regards -

Sounds like the drive is dying if it can't even read a commercial DVD. They "go" first on DVDs and then CDs. You could try cleaning it. Regards -
It cracks me up when this sorta thing happens. Sorry brassy, but you downloaded something and now ask us for help cos your illegal DL isn't working? Regards
-
That drive/firmware might not even recognise MKM-003. Try with Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. Regards
-
If it's a DVD Video, then your filesystem switches will ensure the disc will not play. Every standalone player uses UDF 1.02 and de minimus, you must include that in your filesystem. I'd suggest you change your reg file. Regards
-
Switch to Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore anyway. They really are the only way to go for DL burning. Regards

This coming from a chess wannabee! :D Yes, I was bloody upset at Hackett and for those blokes whose boat capsized twice while in a gold possie. And who woulda thought the poms would buy so many cycling golds, eh? Not to worry - it's supposed to be sport and the REAL game starts next British summer where we defend our 5-0 walloping of you lot in the cricket! Regards
