  1. Make sure you've selected the correct audio track as well, if you've selected the DTS track not all systems can handle it...but the AC3 track can be handled by most if not all equipment.
  2. Congrats on the success, but odds are the dye is still CMag...same as the other rubbish only different.
  3. To someone just learning of the product and deciding to buy it today I doubt if they would know that only a few days ago it was much, much cheaper...for those who had half the couple and are now faced with that kind of price hike for the other half might be a bit blu (pun intended) in the face though. I'm just glad I got mine while the gettin was good, of course I haven't used it in over six months as I still prefer the free methods. Waste not want not. It would be interesting to see some sales numbers from the Slysoft camp though, in say, about six months or a year.
  4. I found her one day and can't remember the name....might go looking again soon.
  5. Just give him some time, I hear he's tied up with Interpol ATM....but should be free soon.
  6. Make that a third..../me raises hand
  7. LMAO...who should be jailed for the bad jokes now mate?
  8. the best part is................... i have IESpell as well ,........................ but i never let a bit of software hold me back I see the problem now, you are using the U.K. version...
  9. Firefox has a built in spell checker as well...it's very handy for us under the required I.Q. limits.
  10. The MDS file contains your layer break information, DVD Shrink doesn't produce one but Imgburn in build mode does. This information, if choosing the MDS file, tell your burner how to burn the image and where to place the layer break. Why wouldn't it? As for the ripping, Imgburn will not and can not take anything from a protected source and put it onto your HDD. And you won't get any sermons from me as I and many others here feel the same as you regarding your purchases, but due to the circumstances surrounding LUK's last venture discussions of such ripping are taboo on this forum. EDIT: aaarg, beat to the punch. Cheers vovlo
  11. as broken down by LUK... You also have to take into consideration the format of the DVD...+R vs. -R DVD-R/DVD-RW = 4 706 074 624 bytes ( 4488 MB ) DVD+R/DVD+RW = 4 700 372 992 bytes ( 4482 MB ) you get 6 extra MB's with -R media, what a bonus.
  12. Why? Build mode creates an ISO and an MDS, why do it again?
  13. I think you answered your own question. The screenshot you posted is for the upcoming release and isn't available to the general public yet.
  14. The picture is a little small but it looks like the file size is 4531mb...and the log clearly states the file size. You need to compress your file a tad, set your output size to 4400 mb. Not a part of your problem, but I'd get some decent media such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
  15. Could also be some heavy duty multitasking going on too.
  16. No problem corny, I think we covered all the bases anyway as the question seemed a little tricky. LOL As far as drives go, if you have SATA connections, the Samsung 203B is a strong contender as well.
  17. Because DVD Shrink would be an unneccesary step, as it is a compression tool and since you are not doing any compressing it's just extra work for you and your PC. Set DVD Shrink, if you must use it, to save to Hard Disc as your output target, not your burner or ISO image file. This will create a VIDEO_TS folder your your HDD which you will open with Imgburn in "build" mode. Imgburn will then determine the correct layer break and an MDS file for you to burn from manually.
  18. ...as in a scanning utility? There is always CD/DVD Speed.
  19. ...and here I thought this was going to be about a prison movie.
  20. I know it's too late for xmas, but for future reference LUK likes flowers, chocolates and ladybugs if you are looking for gift ideas.
  21. Happy Birthday you bastard....LOL
  22. Yar, Happy Belated Birthday from me too....at least I got here in time for xmas.
