  1. kortik, Because of the up and down quality of most media, even the ones you may have had success with before, its best to stick with Verbatim or Taio Yuden. These two brands consistantly give good burns are arer of the highest quality dye formation.

  4. ElBoricua433, Unicode is an industry standard designed to allow text and symbols from all of the writing systems of the world to be consistently represented and manipulated by computers. Developed in tandem with the Universal Character Set standard and published in book form as The Unicode Standard, Unicode consists of a character repertoire, an encoding methodology and set of standard character encodings, a set of code charts for visual reference, an enumeration of character properties such as upper and lower case, a set of reference data computer files, and rules for normalization, decomposition, collation and rendering.
  5. Good Luck Ivanhoe, but seriously buy some verbs and watch your success rate soar.............. If your buying DL verbs, go for the +R format as they handle the layerbreak stuff better. SL verbs you can stay with the -R format.
  6. Ivanhoe, again probabley media related as Blutach said. All your errors are coming at the burning stage, most of the time meaning your just using lower end blank media. The Verbs should take care of these problems for you........ Let us Know the outcome.
  7. Secction 9, Glad everything worked well for you. I'm sure Mr. Lightning will be happy for the positive feedback...........
  8. errupin, It would really help us if you could post a log of the failed burn. The log contains information about whats going on during that process..........

  12. Well at least the Great Pumpkin is real, He rises out of the pumpkin patch on hallows eve and scares the s--t out of people. Then he hands out candy......... she's a wonderful treat all coated in chocolate and very sweeeetttt......
  13. coolsti, synchronizing cache simply means your burner is writing whatever data is left in the buffer. This is performed just before doing the finalizing or closing of the disc. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&...ost&p=13486
  14. Solo Strike, Welcome to the forum. You stated the size of your files in video ts folder was 4.04 gigs. You should not have a problem burning this image to a SL DVD media. A SL media will hold 4.7 gigs of information. Good Luck. Keep your media and burn away.........
  15. tcat, Sorry but this forum is for the support of Imgburn. We can't help you on anything to do with copy protection removal. I'm sure a little searching will help you. Im trying to copy the Da vinci code
  16. Disc ID: CMC MAG-E01-00 As Polo was saying above, crap media. Get some Verbatim or Taio Yudens.

    New Psu

WOW ! That looks very similar to the Antecs over here. Even the specs are close. The quality and workmanship are probabley identical as well. There're great PSU's..........
  18. vision, No its not neccessary to verify after you burn, and it doesn't effect the outcome of the burn itself, but to myself its rather important to have that verify stage always on as it is what makes sure what you have burn't to disc matches exactly what the source of the burn was. If you want to just burn an image without verfying just uncheck verify. The only risk here is you won't know about a problem on the burn't disc until you go to use it and it messes up.

    New Psu

Dave, another good one is Antec True Power, don't know if there're sold over there. I've been running a 850 watt one for a couple of years now without any probs at all. Very quiet PSU. One drawback, a tad bit pricey but the quality so far has made it a worthwhile investment. Comes with all the cables connectors and everything you need to install and go.
  20. no worries random, Done it before too......... good luck with the current firmware.......... Let us know what happens......
  21. random, If everything is good with your current firmware, stay with it. Don't fix it if it ain't broke............
