Elboricua433, Hope this helps................... http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...mp;hl=cue+sheet This is about all I can explain on this subject........... * the above has more to do with CD burning than video, but might give you an idea. Could you copy and post the full log from this error.

Wishfull, As LUK stated a brand new DVDRW must be formatted before it can be written to. Wether or not the program you are using actually shows you this step or just does it, is that programs ( programmers choice ). I prefer to be informed whats going on in the burning proggie I'm using. At least then some novice or occassional users of said program will see why its taking a bit of time to initalize the burning stage of said program ( when program is formatting new DVDRW disc ) instead of thinking there is something wrong with the program or their methods, as a full format on a brand new disc may take some time, which a novice user may mistake as the " program hanging" I do believe the majority of our users are comfortable and happy that this info screen is incorporated into our program. Just my humble opinoin Wishful.................. For myself I'm glad that imgburn does this, as I believe its predecessor did also ( getting older my minds not what it used to be )

Shit db, now you've lost me..................

lfc, Never any doubt mate................

Caldor, Looks like it may be your media. TTH02 has been associated with dyes by CMC, absolute garbage media. Also maybe try slowing your burn speed down to 4X and try it again. The best media for burning is Verbatim DVD-R single 4.7 GB. A bit more expensive but well worth it.

MJ, from what I've heard budget comps aren't too too bad, depending on manufacturer. They're weak link a lot of times are the PSU and memory, meaning that it's under ramed or if it has good ram numbers the ram is usually value ram. Not at all a pro at these type of comps, but usually they're reasonably priced and might be good as a starter comp. They usually have a bit of room for upgrading at a later date. One of the other guys probably will have more info to give you on this......

Yea Chewy, bought 2- 100 spindles of these verbs. Been spending some time at a friends house watching her dog while she attends her Dads' funeral out of town. Once home on Sunday night I'll hook up the new burner and see how it does. If it is as dependable as my 108 I will be very happy. Also looking at a benq and a nec to round things off. Any sugestions on models is always welcome.

These are the best media thats been up here in a while. Usually have to settle for MAXL G02. Theres never a steady supply of anything decent that you can just go and buy. Ty's are a once a year item up here. Just bought a Pioneer 111D, so will see how things turn out from that. 44$ cdn. couldn't pass it up.

Hey Grain, I do like Floyd. Don't listen to it very much though anymore. Nothing like putting on the Animals or UmmaGamma Album and watch eyebrows raise from the younger crowd........... . They're all scratching their heads wondering what the hell is playing while they watch some old geezer rock away............... Saw a couple of live concerts and it still blows me away!!! Guess maybe with Syds passing its time to pull some old vinyl out and remember..........

Hey yea! Haven't been to Pennsilvania for years...................
-
Once more, Thanks for all the wishes guys.......... it is appreciated. Out for Dinner and a couple of drinks and if I get real fortunate.......................
-
Yes, too bad about Syd. He was the founding member and force behind Floyd. Floyd has done well since he left in 69 or so. But the music he wrote and put out was the Floyd in the beginning. Apparently the song SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND was a tribute to him the remaining members wrote for the Wish You Were Here Album. I do have each and every album of Floyd, mostly on vinyl but quite a few CD's as their older albums were redone. Nothing like listening to the ANIMALS album though with some snap, crackle, and pops, in the right frame of mind, laid back reminicing.............. Shine On You Crazy Diamond... R.I.P. Syd.....
