dudewithasquare, welcome to the forum. Posible you can post a log of the burn you made so we can see the media type your using. If by chance your using less expensive media ( CMC crap for one ) then this could be a possible cause. Computer drives are less finicky usually then stand alone players to what they will or will not play.

Brian002100, Welcome to the forum. maybe you should consider buying a new drive for your computer. With the prices of top quality drives being so reasonable, a new drive could be a good way to go.

Welcome 4400, Do as Corny and LUK suggest, You are running the newest firmware for your burner so this problem could be bad media, even if several burns have worked using that media. The log would enable us to see a whole lot of info including your media ID. Corny has shown you how to do this....

As Ken mentioned, It seems to me I remember a posting weather or not it was early on in the forum or in the old forum or elsewhere about this problem happening. Apparently the PSU was either streatched to the limit for providing constant voltage or it was starting to crap out. As soon as the posters burner would kick in, the lazer couldn't get enough power to operate correctly. Once the PSU was replaced, all was well again. I do believe it was the latter. Damn wish I could remember where I read this so I could post a link...........

lancermaqi, Since your trying my suggestion, maybe after your done that you might try also deleting the imgburn from your puter and re-download a fresh copy....... Hope this works out for you P.S Don't forget to check your jumper settings are set right on the sony drive. IE/ slave, master, cable select.

Lancermaqi, Try going into system devices and deleting the dvd rom. Then unplug dvd rom from ide cable and reconnect. Restart puter and let OS find the device again............. this might just work for you. Good Luck, let us know.

Yep, same here Polo. Moved everything from LP to CD. Mind you had to flood a couple of LPs, especially the older ones that had been through a few parties............... . Do have the original pulse CD though that came with a built in flashing red LCD on the side of the case, apparently they only put these LCDs in the first release CDs any future ones were missing the it. Been through 5 batteries so far............

funny thing is, you mention floyd or album titles they have produced and some of the kids now a days just look at you like you were the plaque............ meanwhile all you hear through their ear phones are rap and this new wave stuff. Nothing wrong with that music but it certainly lacks the creativity that the music from Floyd and say Zepplin times inspired.
