My burns got better in a very short space of time with the 1655 - I average over 99% quality every time with the TYG02's now !
I might be wrong on this but I believe the drive learns as it goes - it did in my case anyway - stick with it and you should hopefully see the quality rating surpass the NEC with TYG's.....
That was almost word for word db - very spooky !!
Actually I think our eldest was sitting waiting for the police to start using rubber bullets.... yet our youngest (4) was worried about the people being knocked over and hit by water. Guess he is still concerned enough for those around him eh ?
<cough> I might not be sitting in front of it but its always doing something........ With 3 other users of the PC in our house its just not worth shutting it down.....
Well, I have never owned a DVD-Rom so I can't really compare them - I have always used my DVD?RW's to rip and burn and have had no issues.
The BenQ DW1655 that I have is a pretty fast ripper, its not riplocked and I tend to use that more than the NEC4550 that I also have.
My kids were enthralled watching that on the news last night - I have to say I think the french water cannon was shite last night - it hardly knocked anyone over.....
Thats the one - I have to agree with digi that the farts kinda spoilt the story a bit for me - I am a big fan of the 1st series and am looking fwd to series 2 with the cybermen, who incidentally drink in digi's local !!
I remember that too - it was just after we got our BenQ's from komplett, shame cos I think they would sell them, especially as we are happy to recommend them here !
Happy birthday jerseyguy !!! I bet its days like today that you wish you were still delivering and could collect a present from every housewife on the round !!!
NEC1100 - Still running now and its 3 years or so old
NEC2510 - Still in use today, no problems - almost 2 years of use
NEC4550 - Newer but no issues so far, couple of months old
BenQ DW1655 - Newest drive, no probs whatsoever, probably upto 100+ burns now
