Mmmm I had the same dye on discs sold as CMC Unbranded, obviously CMC MAG doesn't have a good name in disc burning circles. My concern is that discs with ID CMC MAG are usually very poor what the hell are unbranded ones going to be like ?

It could well have done - I was just curious as I have the same program installed on my PC and have seen no issues with it.

3x rips would really piss me off........

Yeah I am with corny on this one - I avoid CMC MAG media like the plague, even if you got a burn that verified I am not sure it would be any good in a few weeks...

It was a bit fussy to reflash the old FW when I did that for my NEC for the disc tests, as polo rightly points out official fw can't be installed now as it doesn't recognise the NEC drives - thanks to chewy I got mine sorted.

I had some of the TDK Scratchproof discs to test from SVP - they worked ok for me..... Different media ID tho.... http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=685

What is the media ID on those discs ? Can you post an ImgBurn log so we can see ?
