lots of cheap drives, pioneer 111, or one of the liteon drives. Plextor drives are still quite dear compared to others, the new benq1670 is not that good IMO. Dunno what the new NEC/SONY partnership drives are like as i don't have one, don't think i will bother with those though for some reason, I must be basing that on something just don't know what. I would go with either pioneer 111(as long as your not planning to use it as an external) as a couple of chipset's i have in my usb2 external enclosures don't like my pioneer writers) Or liteon See what the other users on here think then decide.

43562 was a reorder number for verbatim or rather from verbatim direct, its the part number for the discs i get with 100% success so far on various writers. As soon as Svp get stock they do not last long. check the FAQ for DMA related issues, have your pioneer set as Master on an 80 wire ide cable. try with another ISO created with Imgburn, or older.

I,m sticking with XP for at least a year, whilst ms get a chance to fix the holes that users will find in Vista I,m very happy with XP anyways.

Trust did the same when XP came out, webcam would not work and they said they were not updating driver support for it, but they did say they had a new cam out that was XP compatible, how nice of them to fleece their existing customers
