the 4 hours your referring to, is that for nero recode to encode/transcode, as thats nothing to do with your lg, thats down to your CPU/MEMORY/HARD DRIVE etc.

MEANS zero, i have had 50 out of a spindle of 100 perfect the rest were just awful and were exactly same media code etc. I lost faith in my lg burners seemed they would just burn whatever speed they liked with 8x rated disc's I would still ditch nvidia ide drivers.

If it was me,. i would change the drive, try the ttgo2 in another writer. Try some different disc's in your LG. Check cables, uninstall ide drivers and use built in windows drivers for the ide side of your nforce board. I never install nvidia's ide drivers as i think they are terrible. get your bios to re detect all your drives.

next time you install xp do not install the nvidia ide drivers bit. Stick your dvd writer onto an 80 wire ide cable see if there is a newer firmware for your lg drive

I would love those but for porn they are just overkill edit also no good for dark shots in fact terrible (2nd one which is dearer) 1st one would be good for very low light
